Oh....wait...you were meaning of TC......

Yes, TC. But, TA works too!

...the reason why if I had a family member who made it in professional sports I would never venture onto a forum.

I can understand the opinions about their play on the field, which is what they get paid for, but this T.O. discussion after he's been long gone from the team is what is scary.

he could have audio and some guys aren't going to believe it.

Just as T.O. backers have/are/and always will be ridiculous..

Fans who show major love for a single player over and above their love for the team can be some of the most annoying people on the board.

Couldn't agree more. Especially when we clearly have people on this board (Thankfully the two in question here really aren't this particular type) that would rather our team suck so they could be right then ever have to admit they were wrong or that one particular player didn't matter as much as they thought.

In this instance, the ridiculous behavior falls on the side of those that despise the artist formerly known as Cowboys WR #81. That blind boiling hatred still resonates between the ears of one poster mostly. No one else lost their mind over the mention of T O.

Tanslation: Waaaaaaaaaaa :lmao2:

Go mets go!

Oh please. Bleu you're no better. Any mention of TO, or any chance to mention TO, is where you're going to chime in about "And they said TO was the problem" or some other silly remark to try and make it clear that you're still a TO supporter.

Just like with DC everyone gets it. We all know where you stand and what your thoughts were on TO. The fact that you both go on and on, any chance thats given, about it is annoying.

But, like I said above, at least neither of you appear to be the kind of guys who would rather be right then have us win but you both have to take your silly little hate/love to the extreme either way.

As for the OP that's a good story. Cool that you met TC. I don't really care much about the rest of it as the hand gesture could have been about Tony for many different things. Maybe it was just about him off the field and had nothing to do with what he thought about him on the field. To hard to tell if you didn't just flat out ask him.

I don't expect every player on the team to like every other player on the team off the field. As long as they respect, support, and work hard for one another on the field is all that matters in that aspect.

I've had people think (on their own mind you) that I was a professional football player. I'm 6'4 and weigh 245. I've been in a few places around Texas and once in Oakland where people have comp. my meal or drink because they thought I was a player. Even people who know me say I favor Derrick Brooks. I don't think so but whatever.

My point is perhaps this particular guy (claiming to be TC)
was having some fun. Or It in fact was him. But i believe the story because it would take a pretty sick person to want the attention of so many people on a discussion board that you would go through the trouble of lying for it and taking a pic to help the cause. And I liked to believe there is no one that sad.

Just so you know I believe you dude. I've told stories like that too and people question it. Don't take it personal. Thanks for sharing and that pics looks like him.

It was definitely him, after I actually really looked at him when he turned to me, it was obvious.

Some other interesting things we discussed
-he was talking to us about Georgia Tech beating VT....
-He was thrilled when we told him the Eagles lost to the Raiders
-When the lady next to me said that she hoped the Falcons lose the sunday nighter, he agreed. When I said I hope they win so we could knock them off their perch, he said,"very good point, I like that better!".
-He asked me if I had any gum and I was able to come through!
-I wished him luck for the rest of the season and he appreciated it.

That's about it...

I still say you should have slid him. :laugh2:

Okay, after the third or fourth reference, I've got to ask--what does it mean to "slide" someone? I assume this is a reference to one of YouTube videos?

I do find it hard to believe how no one especially a Cowboys fan can't recognize Tashard Choice. Especially a member on this site where his picture is plastered through threads. Seems a little fishy. If you don't know how he looks who's to say the guy on the plane didn't lie to you and really wasn't Tashard? I mean afterall he doesn't even know how he looks or sounds.

Well, he did mention he was behind him, so maybe he saw him at an angle and didn't immediately recognize him...more so (as Hos mentioned) because he wasn't expecting to see him.

That's a cool story...I wish I could be that lucky. With my luck, I would end up sitting next to Skip Bayless.

Thanks for the pic and the story, Ken. Some folks wanted you to stick your Blackberry in his face and invade his privacy. You didn't and that's cool. However, like some have already said, you shoulda slid him when you had the opportunity. :D
