You mean the way he helped SF and Philly?
He wasn't the demise of either franchise. They were better teams with him on the field than not.

Nay, but if he becomes a Cowboy I am going to hope he becomes a model citizen and does great things on the field.

I will not be less of a Cowboys fan with TO on the team.

I didn't say he was the demise of any team. Also, his contributions go far beyond what happens on the field.

there's a way to win.
there's a "style" we all sooner or later associate ourselves with.
for the longest time, the cowboys *were* that style. that "way to win". somewhere along the way we went from never settling for even a losing season and now we're just hoping for a winning one.

T.O. is too much for a lot of us fans and given the overall climate, i *do* think it will matter to a lot of long time fans if the franchise goes so far "out there" we have to take a chance with TO.

winning is great and all, but the price can still be "too high" depending on "how" you try and do it.

we used to do it with class and style.

now we're just doing it on a prayer - screw the class and style.

i'll take the losing years just fine rather than the potential winning years with a player who probably can't even spell team cause he's never acting like he's in one. you let TO win this one, you'll just have more coming cause they know they can.

I dont disagree with what you say, therefore I said Nay. Assuming TO is a Cowboys though, I am not going to wish ill on the Cowboys.

oh i'd NEVER wish ill on the team. as long as i watch football i'm a cowboys fan. but 1-15 would be easier to take again than having TO on the team.

Nay.

I hope he never plays again...there's too many players out there that cherish what they do for this guy to blemish the NFL like he's been doing for so long.

i don't care much for the man - but i do catch myself thinking about how he would bring instant firepower to an offense that has been dismal for most of the last decade.

i vote "nay" - but i won't fall apart if he gets inked tomorrow. IMO, it's pretty much even odds this will eventually go down.
