I'm pleased with the defense today. In a regular game vs. another team, this would be a terrible performance but the Broncos are nearly unstoppable and yet the defense forced 2 turnovers and a few FGs against them to give our offense a chance.

If you told me before the game that the defense would do ENOUGH vs. Peyton to give us a chance to win at the end, I'd take it every time, regardless of if the score is 3-3 or 48-48.

We just have to accept that the defense is not good. Too many no-names on the DLine.

Did everyone figure out Kiffin/Mareneli scheme? Ware injured, double team Hatcher and play one on one on the rest?

We're missing 3-4 quality lineman. Our front 7 coaching is fine. But you can only coach so far with depleted talent.

Why does it have to be one? Just blame both, the D didn't help Tony all day and at the end his mistake cost them. If Dallas won the blame wouldn't go on Manning and his lob pass to Mo. I'm trying to figure out waht the strenght of this defense is and I just cant get it.

at some point we have to realize that we think some of our players on D are world class but they are average at best,no coordinator is going to fix that.

You hit the nail on the head. We have a few above average players on D and several over rated, especially Demarcus Ware. He has been a non factor for the last two games with backup O lineman handling him without a problem.

Our d backs cannot guard for more then 2 seconds to get a pass rush and when they do our d line cannot get the pressure. Sometimes hall of famers like D Ware have got to beat back up O lineman.

The D could not stop them when it counted and to me that was the difference in the game. Depending on Romo to win every game is a losing game. Others have to step up on D and they have not.
