Once again, Romo will get all the hate, but our D' is a joke....

The D could not stop them when it counted and to me that was the difference in the game. Depending on Romo to win every game is a losing game. Others have to step up on D and they have not.
They got two turnovers. And we had no business trying to stop them on their last possession. Poor coaching.

Watching Church in pass coverage was brutal. His reactions to passes were painfully slow, like his feet were cemented to the turf. Monte Kiffen's reaction time might have been faster than Church today.

Yeah, Church makes a lot of nice hits and is a classic as. But his coverage is very bad. Very bad.

Church is my favorite Cowboy linebacker..... However, a safety he isn't.

shoulda kept Ryan around. Kiffin is an old fossil that got humiliated today. Sure, Tony chokes but in fairness we scored 48 today guys....should have been more than enough to win: this is on the D' and Kiffin: they both suck

Actually it's Zimmer we should've kept

Romo took a few sacks that should have been throw aways. Garrett should have used a TO on 1st and goal at the 2, instead of us rushing to get the snap off and getting the false start, it would have been delay of game if we dont FS. Romo threw a bad pass that got picked.....but, he threw for over 500 yds and led us to 48 pts. Our D couldnt make a key stop all game. We did force 2 turnovers, but Denver scored on every other possession (NOT 1 SINGLE PUNT). Claiborne was horrible in the first half. carter and church were horrible all game. ware is playing with a bad neck. holloman, who I feel is probably our best cover LB, isnt even given a chance to show what he has. Dunbar hardly gets any touches on offense, and ends up getting hurt on ST. Is Randle hurt?

On the positive, Beasley and Williams stepped up huge. Escobar played well. Our OL was excellent, as the sacks were on Romo for holding the ball too long. Bailey got his mojo back. and in spite of our record, we are still in 1st place, though the Eagles are technically a half game up in the division standings.

I have been one of Romo's biggest critics, but this game was absolutely not on him. I see him coming out of this game with a different attitude. He will tear things up the rest of the year and hopefully this defense will improve enough to get us into the SB against the Broncos.

I am proud of the defense, they gave the offense a chance to win at home vs. one of the best offenses of all time. It was the perfect scenario. There's nothing bad I can say about the offense, defense, or special teams. Romo is just cursed. He's a good QB but just cursed
You've got to be kidding me .

I said I wasn't going to talk bad about Romo after his performance, I want to, but I will keep my promise. :)

How can you say that? I just don't get!!! He always throws it away at crucial points of the game

Always throws it away? I know you're new here so I suggest you do some homework on Romo in the 4th quarter and how he compares to other QBs .

This isn't Facebook son.

The jury isn't out on Romo. Can't even pretend it is. He played the game of his life, then, almost on cue, choked right at the worst possible moment. Really not even debatable what Romo is.

You're damn right it isn't debatable! Tony Romo threw for 500 yards and 5 TDs with one INT. I'll take that THIS week - and EVERY week. And if that's not good enough for you - then shame on you for your unreasonable expectations and inability to fathom football as the team game it is. Stick to your PS3 or XBox and give the reality of real-world NFL football a wide berth. We'll BOTH be happier.

The average team scores about 20 ppg. Logically then, if you score 48 points, you should win 99% of your games with the remaining 1% a result of your D absolutely blowing and allowing more than 48 points. Not sure how people can blame the QB for the D sucking, and not sure how they can fail to mention/give any credit to the QB putting up an extraordinary amount of points while choosing instead to focus on one bad throw. I wonder what happened to these people in their personal lives to make them so pathetic and focussed on the negative.

I hate to point out the obvious. but the broncos have been killing everyone all year. I'm not saying we are the doomsday or anything, but ......are you really shocked the broncos scored allot of points on us? Romo has been throwing into tight coverage all year and winning with it. The last offensive play sucked for sure, but he has pulled it off more times than not this year. It's the heaven and hell with a gunslinger. I just wish Tony's would figure out when it is time to throw the stinking ball away.

Romo had 506 yds and 5 tds and was THE reason we had a chance and THE ONLY reason we were in the game period.

And he was the reason we scored 48 points. Nobody else. Tony romo is a top 5 Qb. And if you don't believe that then you are not worth talking football with cause you have no clue what you are talking about cause you are just a casual fan.

He does all these things to keep us in games with little to zero help. Finally we have a good off line this yr. But the past x number of yrs our off line has been a joke. And our wrs have been very inconsistent. Whether it's injuries or whatever. And we've had a terrible running game. When we had a good running game with parcells here what did Romo do? He lit opponents up every week.

And he does all this in spite of a horrible defense. A defense that stays injured and never makes a big play to help the team out. Before Carr int vs nyg in wk 1 when is the last time the defense made a stop when we needed it badly?

As for the end of game stuff, all that I wrote before is why you see the end of game problems.

Romo keeps us in every game so every game is close. You win some of those close games and you lose some of those close games. Romo wins his share of close ones and chokes his share of close ones. But guess what? So does Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Eli, Peyton and every other Qb in the league.

There teams just aren't in as many tight games as romo is

Yeah, Church was really bad in pass coverage - unlike the rest of our D, which was fantastic against Denver.
