It's outstanding this year. You have to give them credit for that. 4th in the power rankings and trending up.

I don't have to give them credit for anything. They've won a single playoff game in 3 decades. Being 5-2 this year doesn't erase or even erode three decades of futility under the same leadership. They have absolutely no idea what they're doing.

That we have but this is a missed opportunity. Being good is fun and all but the playoffs isn't good enough. It's NFCCG or bust.

As a fan it's fun seeing splash moves to improve your team. I know this team isnt perfect and could benefit from improving the run defense and potentially WR. However, the Eagles are a biggest competition for us and we lost because the offense turned the ball over 4x and were missing our starting QB. I think we can absolutely beat the Eagles, but won't be as easy as last year.

At this point let's hope Hankins and the bye help to improve the run defense. Gallup starts hitting his stride and James Washington is the missing number 3 receiver we needed.

The NFL has changed, the way to the big dance is evaluating your team by mid season and if you are in the mix, aggressively go after what you need to improve. You will probably have to overpay but staying pat will have you on the outside looking in. The Vikings, 9ers, Dolphins and Bill are going all in.

The above is why dynasty’s will be a thing of the past.

I respect your thoughts on it. My issue with not making a move is bc of how this defense took the next step and how the rest of the conference has shaken out. I know I didn't expect it before the season but our window is open now. There was opportunity to get better today and we didn't.

DJ Moore or Brandin Cooks wouldn't do anything special for the offense.

For the players being discussed I actually would have been disappointed if they threw a second rounder out for them. WR is an overhyped need for this offense. They simply don't throw the ball enough for a wideout to take them over the top.

I would have been much more interested in a LB, DT, or corner.

Disappointed that the team didn't get better today with the NFC so wide open, but can't complain about having our full complement of picks (outside of the 6th rounder) in the 2023 draft.

I think it’s your fault to be honest. Not one person said a trade was guaranteed, they only said they are entertaining some things.

Are we 5 years old? When someone says something is a possibility do you automatically check it off as happening?

I get being disappointed at not making a move, but if interview clips where the possibility of landing someone was mentioned is the reason you felt like something was going to happen then you must be an eternal optimist.

Nothing was guaranteed and there was always a good chance a deal wasn’t worked out. If you “bit the cheese” then you’re just saying that you don’t understand the difference between a deal being possible versus one being done.
