I respect your thoughts on it. My issue with not making a move is bc of how this defense took the next step and how the rest of the conference has shaken out. I know I didn't expect it before the season but our window is open now. There was opportunity to get better today and we didn't.

Get that, I too was hoping we would add someone in addition to Hankins. However, most of the players that ended up getting traded I don't know how much they would improve this team. Lot of RBs, the WRs that were traded went at a high cost and don't think Claypool or Toney would really be difference makers. DJ Moore would have been a big get , who knows what the asking price was. Cooks would have been a nice get but guarantees were a big issue.

What exactly did they lie about? They said they MIGHT make a trade if the right player and trade terms surfaced. They never said they were going to definitely make a trade and doing so would’ve been stupid. We know they pursued Cooks, but the price was too high. They also looked at a couple of other possibilities. I guess you’re one of those that just wanted a trade for trades sake regardless whether it was in our favor or not. If we had made a trade, you’d probably on here griping that we got fleeced.
