Prescott's pace: 4,224 yds, 108.6 passer rating

Only QB with 4,000 yds, 100 rating in first 3 seasons:
1984 Marino 5,084 yds 108.9
1999 Warner 4,353 yds 109.2

I'm interested in looking in the context of championships. We already know we have the top 2 ORotY candidates with a distant 3rd.

I would say most consistent/balanced, not most dominant (maybe with 9). The OL is definitely dominant though.

Those numbers certainly speak to consistent excellence, but considering they're not in the top 100 scoring teams through 10 games, I'll hold off on "most dominant."

Wow, kid is truly amazing along with this team. I hated the pick when we took Dak. Shows what us fans know. I have ate so much crow I have been flying around.

I didn't hate the pick. I'm glad we addressed the QB position ... albeit a bit late. I didn't expect him to be ready for another 3 years.

If you have ever hated a 4th round pick at the time it was made, no one needed to look at results to know you were wrong.

Today with over 400 yards on offense. ties the 2013 Denver Broncos for the most consecutive 400 yards games by a team at 8.
we can break this on dead bird day against the Commanders.

against the number one defense no less! What I really liked was how Dak made them pay for blitzing and committing too much to stop the run. The "success" that Philly/Pitt/Balt had in stopping this offense was short-lived and came at a price.

The Cowboys have 99 drives, 288 points, 2.91 ppd. The list you're looking at is team points, not offensive points. It includes return scores, and doesn't account for number of possessions. Every added possession for the offense means another possession for the opponent.

Drive stats only go back to 1998, but most of the teams ranked ahead of Dallas on the list you're looking at had inferior offenses.

2007 Patriots 3.37 ppd
2011 Packers 3.05 ppd
2013 Broncos 2.98 ppd
2011 Saints 2.98 ppd
2004 Colts 2.93 ppd
1998 Vikings 2.92 ppd
2016 Cowboys 2.91 ppd
2016 Falcons 2.88 ppd
2000 Rams 2.85 ppd
2012 Patriots 2.82 ppd
2014 Packers 2.73 ppd
2005 Colts 2.64 ppd
1998 Broncos 2.62 ppd
2015 Panthers 2.57
2009 Saints 2.56 ppd
2015 Cardinals 2.52 ppd
2014 Patriots 2.49 ppd
2014 Broncos 2.48
2015 Patriots 2.47 ppd
1999 Rams 2.45 ppd
2009 Vikings 2.44 ppd
2007 Cowboys 2.42 ppd
2012 Broncos 2.38 ppd
2016 Chargers 2.35 ppd
2014 Colts 2.27 ppd
2011 Lions 2.20 ppd
2002 Saints 2.11 ppd
2013 Eagles 1.98 ppd
2012 Hou 1.96 ppd

200 yards passing is not impressive.

400 yards of total offense is nice but hardly dominant.

Oh, if that also includes dominating the clock by about 60% of a game, and scoring at 30 points a game, with Dak Presley completing 20 of 22 4th quarters throws over the past three games. With a current QB rating at about 110 now. Then the lead rusher already passing all records for a Dallas running back and leading the league...I'll just not ask and take a 400 a game total.

I'm a little drunk, but I think protection was really good on the blitzes in the second half.
