Agreed.

Anyone watching this team and calling the offense one of the most dominant in league history....well...whatever.

Happy we won.
Exactly, Mariota has 30 touchdowns and zero picks in the redzone in his career

The most dominant redzone qb of all time put him in the hall of fame

Thats tells the story of stats

What's scary is how young this offense is. It's a bunch of sub 25 year old guys and old man Witten. We have the top offensive line in football, yet remarkably young. A truly gifted and generational back, who is only rookie. And a fellow rookie quarterback who is rewriting what it means to be an elite qb. This group is a legend in the making.

See post #35. Through 10 games, we're arguably one of the most dominant offenses of the last 20 years.

I think people overlook it because it tends not to be a high octane, quick-score offense. But yeah, it's been pretty damn dominant.

Today with over 400 yards on offense. ties the 2013 Denver Broncos for the most consecutive 400 yards games by a team at 8.
we can break this on dead bird day against the Commanders.
Where did you get this information, jazz? Curious about who else caught onto this.

Dak is a unusual QB, he isnt fancy, not a classic passer, or big arm, at times he looks bad, but so far he always finishes strong.
It is like he turns it up at certain points, and at end of games.

What I liked from the beginning , were the long drives, which came in handy today, 13 play drives from 8 and 12 for scores,
that eat up the clock and demoralize the other team/defense.

Quick scores are exciting and look good, but these long drives wear the other team out, and their offense gets cold on sideline.
I think this is the key to them winning all these games.

I personally think the "at times he looks bad" is a bit overblown. He started, what, 4 of 10? Six incompletions where he had several misfires as he got settled into the game. And he finished with, what, nine incompletions?

Well I said he does great later in games, but early on, he has looked bad on many plays.

I think that's what separates this offense from many of the top offenses from the last 20 years like the Randy Moss' offenses with the Vikings & Patriots, the Bronco offense of a couple years ago, the "Greatest Show On Turf" offense... Those were all much more quick-strike offenses than what this one is... This is offense is "meat grinder".

Consequently this offense isn't going to put up the points like those offenses, but it doesn't have too because it's like a cobra in that it just squeezes the life out of the other team. By the end of the game their opponents aren't tired from chasing receivers all over the field in big chunks, they're beaten up from having to defend play after play after play. 13 play drives... 15 play drives... After about 3 of those and their defense has had it.

Exactly, and a key is not turning the ball over to give the other team a short field.
And that is where dak and the team have excelled .
