There's no standard length and width to the pitch. Narrow fields make the game way less fun.

Here's a pic of the Cowboys stadium about to host the Gold Cup quarterfinal:For domestic matches:
Length (touch line): minimum 90 m (100 yds) maximum 120 m (130 yds)
Width (goal line): minimum 45 m (50 yds) maximum 90 m (100 yds)
For international matches;
Length: minimum 100 m (110 yds) maximum 110 m (120 yds)
Width: minimum 64 m (70 yds) maximum 75 m (80 yds)

The field looks like it BARELY meets the requirement. There's like no space near the corners. Hopefully something can be done later on to the lower area to create more space otherwise the Cowboys Stadium probably won't be hosting a world cup.Penality box = 44 yards.
Mark on end line = 10 yards from the corner arch.
Corner arch = 1 yard
And here’s the key measurement….
Gap between 10 yard mark and box = 2 yards. Maybe, and that’s being generous.
Box+10 yard mark(2)+corner arch(2)+gap(2)=44+20+2+4= 70 yards.
According to the FIFA rulebook the the minimum width for international matches is 70 yards.
So if you buy that space is two yards, and I’m not sure I do, then Cowboys stadium barley meet’s the internatinal measurement for width.
