As much fun as it is to see Tony goofing around out there when things are good, it's frustrating as all hell to see his body language become completely dejected when things turn sour.

So I'll say one thing I'd like to see Tony be is more stoic on the field. Don't get too high and don't get too low.

I am happy to hear he is working already with the WR's. His emotions are going to be high this year. Pay back will be served.

I agree.

I love Tony but that pouting is not what he needs to do.

You can't do that at the Quarterback position.

I recently watched an NFL Films show on top clutch QBs and was amazed to think that Unitas was only 25 when he played in that 1958 championship game. It was only his 3rd season in the league but he was already the best in the game.

His poise, maturity, and command of the game at such a young age were astounding, and he had to call the plays too!!! He seemed much older than he actually was.

I realize that Romo is still young in terms of playing time but he has played in more games than Unitas had at that point (37-29) but seems to be way behind in terms of maturity. Different era and all that but still, I'd like to see Romo be show more maturity on the field.

Their's nothing else to really talk about with regard to Romo. We all know his weaknesses, what he needs to do to keep his job, his strenghs, let's move on to something else in the name of all that is right.

I think he needs to learn which head to think with.
Well, if the rumors are true, Jessica's dad is telling her to dump Romo. That might help with the head thing.:lmao:

Unless you are Dan Marino.

Yeah, I'm sure he'd have a hard time filling that void.

I understand what you're saying. But I live in NJ where the "body language and expressions" of Eli were highly criticized until the Miracle of 2007 occurred. Then that same body language (which hasn't changed much) was fine because their defense and numerous breaks made him "a winner". I think a lot of this stuff is just fan/media perception and matters much less than actual production.

A lot of this crap we read about Romo and the Cowboys goes back to that stupid playoff game against the Giants where we basically dominated but dropped some key passes, committed unforced penalties, and had a couple of really bad calls go against us. Despite all of that, we were a play away from winning that game. We win that game (which we should have) and all of this extreme criticism we get is gone. That loss led to the hangover that was 2008. Throw in a bunch of injuries and close losses and now "all is lost". Whatever. Without major injuries to key players, I expect this team to contend.

I know we lost and expect all the "shoulda coulda woulda" posts to follow.
I'm just saying that I'm not concerned with Romo or his body language as much as many other things on this team.

That's because there can be only one.

Does anybody on here ever give him the benefit of the doubt.
He has a whole other world of a personal life (THAT DON'T INVOLVE HER)!!!
Maybe he had some serious illness going on in the family, he did last year, maybe like he said "There is more to life than football". He has his priorities straight now all he has to do is straiten out the FANS, and the Press. There is life and death issues to face in this world. Troy Aikman and staff are there to report on the game, not his personal life. If they did their work right there would be no issues. Keep the cameras on the field.
I hate myself for reading this junk. Find something positive to say.:starspin
