One week out and Golden is becoming the chalk pick for the Cowboys

The more I watch Luther Burden film the more I fall in love man, I’m at the point where I’d have no issues at 12. I was really wrong about him. Dynamic, just get the ball in his hands
I like Kyle Williams better than burden

Hell naw, Williams is starting to become the most overrated player in the draft, dude was a JAG until his 5th year. Was the third receiving option last year on his team as a 4th year player behind two nobodies

I've come around on Burden completely too. When you watch all the WRs, he's the one who looks the part of an NFL WR. I like his skillset better than Golden, his potential better than Egbuka, and his movement better than Tet.

For what it’s worth , here’s an article updated a couple days ago.

I think if Burden wasn’t such a low key guy the take on him would be a little different. Coming into this season, PFF may have (if I remember correctly) had Luther as the top guy.

A place you wouldn’t want to see him would be opposite Scary Terry.

For me, it's TMac>Bech>Burden>Golden>Felton>Egbuka

And lots of people say Dak won’t throw to a receiver unless he’s open (contested balls) which isn’t tet. Golden gets a lot of separation.
That’s also not true.

Dak led the league in tight window throws and tight window throws attempted at one point.

Dak has a lot of flaws, I don’t see why there is a need on this forum to make up things that aren’t true when there is enough evidence of the things he absolutely sucks at to talk about.

This couldnt be further from the truth. Dak needs receivers that separate. I cant even count how many times Ive seen his supporters post those graphs of receivers and separation this year when he was playing poorly. Its why Dez didnt last here long once Dak took over and his stats improved once Amari Cooper came here.
Dez was starting to decline at that point because he relied solely on his physical ability for so long. Once the injuries happened and he started losing the physical aspect, he started to regress. Mainly because he didn’t hone his craft and get better at route running like Larry fitz did. Larry knew his body would eventually fail and running crisp routes was his only way to stay in the game.

It’s also why Witten lasted so long and was always seemingly open.

Would you say the same for Golden who had less production the last 2 years?

Agree…this take is always laughable to me.

What QB in the NFL doesn’t like to throw to wide open WRs?

One person says it and another 100 take it and run without even looking into it.

It's hilariously pathetic.

I just watched more of Golden. I see why they like him. I still like McMillan better though.

there is no proof of this
Show me his stats after Dallas.

The proof is there.

Y’all just wanna blame Dak for Dez being lazy.

Dak and Dez had one of the greatest throws and catches of the year in 2016. Against Pittsburgh.

Why is it Dak has looked good with almost every receiver (or receiver looked good) with Dak. From cooper to Cobb. To Beasley who had his best year with Dak.

It’s Dak or it’s them? Or it’s both.? Make up your mind.

Again. Dak has enough flaws you don’t need to make them up.

What do his stats after Dallas have to do with his production suffering once Dak took over?

He was the one that brought us back in the 2016 playoff game vs the Packers and then in 2017, once the book was out on Dak, his production diminished.

In fact, all of the Cowboy receivers numbers dropped in 2017, not just Dez. Terrence Williams was soon out the league after Dak came along

Im not gonna let yall rewrite history

lol. You’re the one trying not me.

Williams and Dez never saw the league again after. Body catch Williams and one cut Dez were gone. Guys like Beasley and Cobb lasted longer.

Yall can keep blaming Dak all you want. Dez production was never at 2014 level again. He peaked. And never played again.

Unless you were in practice watching him, the book was out on him too.

Not to say that Dak wasn’t an issue but let’s not act like Dez single handedly brought them back against GB either. Who was throwing Dez the ball? Himself? lol. Who converted the 2 pointer?

Football is a team game and all some of you want to do is point to one player and blame them. It’s easy to see for anyone with a pulse that some of you don’t understand the word. Team.

Does McMillan have the potential to be the next Larry Fitzgerald? I know that's a big ask of a player, but if it's there then I can see the reason to want him over Golden. Frankly, I think he's more comparable to someone like Plaxico Burress,

Think he'll be better than Burress was. I think he can be a true #1. We'd be back to having two WRs with #1 talent.

Then again, my preference is Tyler Warren then Tet.

I remember when people on this forum and other forums were comparing Burden’s play style to Lamb.
