This is depressing. Last year was an unbelievably joyful season. This is the most painful one I can remember.

It was somewhat dreadful for me. While winning was nice, I always felt the rug would come out from under the team and it would lead to detrimental decisions. Unfortunately, I was correct.

2015 was worse. Those 8-8 seasons were pretty bad too.

I disagree on 2015. Once Romo was hurt, that was obviously it - not a ton of pain associated with it similar to the Packers this year.

When you factor in the unbelievable assault on Zeke and all of the injuries to our best players, it's just been an exhausting few months as a fan.

The Cowboys beat Baltimore, 27-17. The 9th straight win was the longest winning streak in team history (to that point).

How much difference in QB play this year can be attributed to not having Tony and Sanchez in Dak's ear. He's simply not the same player to this point in the season. Hopefully he turns it around.

Last time this year some we’re saying that the 2016 draft was the greatest of all time. Better than the 74 Steelers or 75 Dirty Dozen.

I don't think Tony and Sanchez in his ear meant all that much. This year has been tumultuous since Zeke was suspended - will he play, won't he play, week after week. Add to it the loss of veterans in the secondary and on the offensive line and the team just isn't as good as a year ago. (Lee was healthy last year as well)

Another factor is teams have had a year to study Dak. I'm not confident he's getting the kind of coaching necessary to adjust to what opponents are throwing at him.

What do the back up QBs have to do with Dak sailing passes or throwing them in the dirt? He looked like bad Eli out there last night.
