And you wonder why the Cowboys are where they are.

Watch the Eagles or Giants scoop up a Harbaugh and Bellichick. Meanwhile, we are trying to run back the buddy special. If we 'run more of the same', I won't be tuning in nearly as much next year

This team isn't even fun to watch anymore. We're just literally a punching bag for other fanbases.
Have the Eagles fired anyone?

It's weird how some folks think the GM storms into the locker room and yells "YOURE FIIIIIIIIIRRED!" like Vince McMahon in WWE as soon as the game ends.

50 hours ago firing MM wasn't even a thought. If you think that isn't being discussed now you're kidding yourself, but it's a big decision. You're not just firing Mike, you're losing other guys too if you fire him. I'm glad they're taking time to cool off before taking action, but there will be some action.

Even Jerry knows how hard it will be to sell no changes to the fans. Something will happen.

I'd crawl over glass to get Tomlin...why hasn't he been extended yet?

Have they fired anyone yet? Not that I'm aware of. Do they have a history of moving on much quicker than the Cowboys? See Carson Wentz and Doug Pederson.

The fact that JJ hasn't come out in support of MM says our HCs seat is kinda hot. If MM is fired, it ain't happening while the wound is still bleeding.
Even if Jerry is thinking of moving on to a new HC, he only dumps McCarthy after he's got the new guy lined up.

Just Look at what fans and media types are saying. We are a society of immediate over-reaction and mostly stupid comments without having all the facts or a plan.
Unless you knew you were going to fire someone weeks ago and were just waiting, it’s foolish to fire people the day after a crushing disappointment That ends the season.

Maybe it ends up being a house cleaning. Maybe he only fires McCarthy, waits to see if he even needs to fire Quinn, and lets a new coach decide if he wants to retain anyone still under contract.

Maybe he keeps McCarthy and listens to reason about needing a sustainable power run game and a defense that can stop the run without the safeties.

We shall see.

Point is they can't snap up anyone until they do. And wringing hands over it until then is silly

I agree but what GM doesn't have a plan in place if your team loses like they did?

Fans and talking heads were already asking this question a week before kickoff. you mean to tell me this thought didn't cross Jerry's mind?

LMAO

He told Steelers players he intends to come back and be the head coach for the 2024 season. It may well be a ploy to force the Steelers to keep him or fire him. Teams will be reluctant to give up draft capital for a coach, under any circumstance. If they cut him loose he is free to sign… for the team that signs him, as well.
