How in the holy heck did we not have anyone, anywhere near the onside kick. We had an above average chance at that with a little effort from the special teams. It looked like when the kick went through the first line, our guys gave up on it. It was there for the taking and we were nowhere to be seen.

Very poor effort there.

The new rules make it hard for the kicking team to get near the ball.

Looked like Woods or whoever was close but didn't layout like they should have, instead he guessed wrong and overplayed it.

Our players don’t have good instincts. That’s up and down the roster.

Maher would have missed the kick anyway. Everybody was ready to go home.

The great Justin March looked like he didn’t know where the the ball was, and special teams “ace” CJ Goodwin overran it.

better they didn’t recover it, everyone looked ready for the plane ride back to Dallas..
Yep. Two guys completely ran right past the muff........shoulda had that one.

That was actually a very good onside kick my Maher, it took three bounces and then kicked up with end over end rotation.

Those are very difficult to field cleanly, not surprised the Jet guy muffed it.

We had two Cowboys with a chance at it, but they both overran the play. Cant tell if they were blocked and didnt see the muff or what exactly the problem was, but if just one of those Cowboys stays infront of the fielder, we recover it.

With the new rules, you pretty much have no shot to recover onsides anymore but we actually had 50/50 chance at it. Such a shame our guys were not in position to capitalize off the muff.

Let's blame the thing with a 99.9% chance of not succeeding.
The rules changes have rendered the onside kick to a longshot.

The fact the ball was rolling around for a second and actually gave the Cowboys a chance of recovering it was surprising.
