Onside Kick?

Good sport - are you kidding me - we had a 2 TD lead with a half of football to go. That is nothing to get comfortable with and be a good sport about. Just ask Philly, Seattle about how much of a lead to be comfortable with.

In the end Dallas had them backed up and then picks Young for a TD. So either way you look at it Dallas was not letting the Titans off the hook.

I was saying the same thing at the sports bar. I figured there is no better time to try a on-side kick other than out of desperation at the end of the game. Once I saw where the ball was placed for the KO I figured it would end up being a touchback (of course i didn't consider the squib kick) so you might as well take a chance, especially since our D was doing well.

I was at the game and almost everyone in the stadium thought of that which would probably mean jeff fisher did to. Onsides dont work that well w/out the element of surprise.

99% of on-side kicks occur w/o the element of surprise considering they usually happen when a team needs to get the ball back in the last minutes of game just to give them a chance to tie/win the game. the success of an on-side kick is more about the luck of the bounce than catching a team by surprise unless your Dave Campo.

BP said in his PC today. This was the 1st time he ever seen this. A KO from the opponents 40. And this was an on the spot quick decison to squib kick it. And it worked out well.
