Jason Witten gets everybody's attention in the huddle -- and the crowd -- with four choice words

You can hear a lot of things at training camp.

You don’t often hear Jason Witten’s voice ringing out in anger from the huddle: “Shut the ---- up!”

But anybody within 100 yards of the huddle on Thursday heard just that. Stunned, everyone wondered, “What was that about?”

“Aw, nothing personal. It’s just part of being in the huddle,” Witten said after practice. “I don’t really want to talk about it.”

I think the Cowboys beat guys obsession and giddiness at the use of profanity this offseason really shows why we get writing that's so lacking in intelligence.

Gotta be honest, it cracks me up how much they tweet about JG's use of profanity during the practice now. He's not on Joe D's or Ryan's level. But if he utters anything remotely profane, it garners a tweet.

..and if that wasn't enough, apparently a use of profanity requires an entire article be written about it now, too.

Every thread we enter and post in, we contribute to this new found insanity.

We all are guilty.

lol

Goodell: "We care about the safety of our football players.. and that includes their ears."

It's out of control. I think twitter and these wannabe reporters make things that are common place, every day activites "breaking news". Just like the Drew Brees tipping-gate.

Does anyone know who he was talking to? I think it would be so priceless if Beasely was nagging him all practice, and finally Witten couldn't take it anymore and snapped on him like a father to a kid/

Apparently there is a rift brewing between Cowboys starting TE Jason Witten and star WR Dez Bryant /rumor

Witten has been caught several times using profanity even on live TV. I think you will be hard-pressed to find a non-kicker football player who doesn't at times. His language is not what defines him. It's his professionalism and dedication that defines him on the field and his charity work and participation with non-football activities that defines him off the field.

The words that you use do define you, .. although that is not important to most people, it is part of what defines you.

I am pretty sure Tom Landry did not use those words, nor Tim Tebow. They are defined in that way.

I am sure there are others on every team and coaching staff.

LOL, ... not sure why you think a kicker would not use that kind of language.
