He didn’t even put down the blue label to read it. Lol.Nice but this is a decades old idea.
Losing can do thisThis OP made a thread a few weeks ago bad mouthing cowboy zone members for not believing in Jerry....... now this.
I see a big problem with your point about our roster being constructed with weaknesses, as Jerry JUST recently got mad at people for talking about how they spend money, you can't do that so please don't do that!!! lolDear Mr. Jones,
I write to you on behalf of a growing number of Dallas Cowboys fans, particularly members of the Cowboys Zone community, who feel it is time to address a hard truth: your era as owner and General Manager of this storied franchise needs to come to an end.
For nearly 30 years, our team has been mired in mediocrity, failing to reach even an NFC Championship game since 1995. This long drought of success has left fans frustrated and disillusioned. While the Dallas Cowboys remain one of the most valuable and recognizable brands in sports, the on-field product continues to fall short of expectations.
The roster is consistently constructed with glaring weaknesses. Whether it's a lack of depth at critical positions or a single, fatal flaw that every team seems to exploit, the Cowboys have struggled to field a complete and balanced team. Each season feels like a tale of missed opportunities, where one obvious deficiency undoes all potential progress. These shortcomings point to a broader issue: the constant mismanagement of the salary cap.
Despite having some of the league’s brightest talents, the financial strategy behind the team has been erratic. Large contracts are handed out without clear foresight, and the cap is often leveraged in ways that handicap the team’s flexibility. As a result, year after year, we see the Cowboys fall short, often undone by poor decisions at the top.
The role of owner and General Manager in today’s NFL is a demanding one, and the dual responsibilities are simply too much for one person to handle. Your contributions to the team in the early years, including the Super Bowl victories, are deeply appreciated and forever etched in history. However, in the modern era, your involvement in the day-to-day football operations has consistently failed to deliver results.
Cowboys Zone members, and many other fans, believe it’s time for a new direction. The passion of Cowboys fans is unmatched, but with each passing year, that passion is met with frustration and disappointment. The era of “almost” is not what this franchise deserves, and after nearly three decades, it’s clear that a change at the very top is necessary.
Mr. Jones, we are calling on you to sell the team and relinquish control over football operations. We are asking for a fresh start with leadership that prioritizes on-field success and brings in football minds dedicated solely to returning the Dallas Cowboys to their rightful place among the NFL elite.
The time has come for you to step back and allow the Cowboys to thrive again. This decision would honor your legacy while giving the next generation of Cowboys fans the hope and success that has eluded us for so long.
Sincerely,
J12B, Cowboys Zone Members and Loyal Cowboys Fans
and I'm sure it's very interesting but I'm not reading that and I am almost positive no I'm 150% positive Jerry's never gonna see this why don't you try to get that through to Jerry?Dear Mr. Jones,

He's not gonna get it unless you put it up on multiple billboards and by the way you should do some kind of money grab you know like a go fund me and raise enough money to advertise on TV and when the newscast get this send it to ESPN pay for it to be read on TV, national tv..Pretty sure you are right about a billboard (probably several in fact) but I am referring to a creating an open letter for Jerry Jones thread. For example, I may have probably created one myself here in the Fan Zone back in 2005 or 2006...
What's really odd is that someone who professes to care so little and does nothing but "check in on the scores just to keep up" takes the time to read and post on a Cowboys forumLOL I don't understand why a lot of you invest so emotionally into this team. I recall being a teenager and watching them during the early 90s and it was indeed a great time to be a Cowboys fan. The past several years has proven to me otherwise that this team will be nothing more than mediocre. The only way the fan base will affect this team is if it stops showing up, stops watching and stops buying merchandise.
I check in on the scores just to keep up and, secretly, I hope they win all the time...but I know better. Games like the Saints this past weekend just makes me shrug and move on b/c it's what I expect out of the team. Childish posts on a football forum are akin to people complaining on facebook about drivers in their communities. No one cares.
Well aren't you just so edgy. A real cut against the grain person there. What's really odd is that someone who professes to care so little and does nothing but "check in on the scores just to keep up" takes the time to read and post on a Cowboys forum

Nothing's gonna happen by people complaining in social media Jerry Jones is not reading these and even if people are they might get back to him he's gonna laugh at you he knows this is just a fan base it's part of the fan base and until you stop going to games and stop having high ratings and keep getting on prime time and keep winning 12 games every year to a point where fans start forgetting about this stuff when they get excited about the playoffs until there aren't do something about for real complaining on social media is not gonna get it done and neither is 1 billboard I mean you literally need to raise maybe $1,000,000 and run a campaign billboards TV's anywhere you can provide protests and hire people to run around and embarrass Jerry Jones nothing's gonna ever happen by people complaining on a social media website that Jerry doesn't know anything about it's not even gonna happen on Facebook there's nothing you can do to get through to him unless you make this a real thing this is just a bunch of whining fans this place is just for therapy it's people complaining and whining and coming up with their own ways to run a $10 billion team they think that they know better they think they have better plans and better ideas and that they can always be better because they've never done it before....ve no clue what they're talking about..
However back to the original idea yes if you wanna do something real and maybe this does get back to Jerry it has to be in national media so start with billboards and start with the campaign and come up with some big time money to put this all over TV and have it advertised during sports and maybe it ends up on the Jumbotron you know that would be ironic right you buy TV spots at AT&T at games so during games they would have to run these because you paid for advertisements I wonder if you know how much that cost to get that up on that screen during the game?
I bet it costs a lot of money but it would be funny because all the fans in the seats would see it and you can write this letter to the fans to all just get up and walk out or to do a protest right then and there where they surround Jerry's box and show him all these messages on poster boards and whatnot let's see how that works out for you 'cause everyone in here just complaints like they have a big plan to protest and make Jerry change for 28 years well I wanna see you guys do something about it 'cause that would be very funny.
I'm being serious how do you guys wanna do something I would love to see that buy spots at AT&T and anything around the store and on national TV pay for ads and make sure this gets over to our local sports guys to it becomes so viral trending you know that it gets back to Jerry in a big way but you're gonna have to start with making it go viral cause just complaining about the Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones that's been done billions of times and it's not gonna work...
Because I'm tired of hearing about this everyone yearly for 28 years now thinks Jerry needs to change they think by just saying things online is gonna help.... Last time I checked this was not Twitter doesn't have a word limitation and you know what that's how I feel every time I come on here and read redundant things like hey that new thread about who's the next coach of the Dallas Cowboys you know we did this all offseason before we realized that Jerry wasn't getting rid of Mike McCarthy we discussed all the head coaching options not even now in second game into the season talk about his replacement so every time I see something that triggers me it's gonna be very long...Member starts a thread. Why did one member get a tugboat, while I was gifted with a Carnival Cruise Line ship?
On second thought, never mind. My curiosity might benefit me with an aircraft carrier.
So, basically, you exhausted yourself replying to the member, who made the thread, but suddenly got a HUGE surge of adrenalin to K.O. my comment. Yeah. That would tire anyone out.Because I'm tired of hearing about this everyone yearly for 28 years now thinks Jerry needs to change they think by just saying things online is gonna help....
Again I'm gonna say what I say for the same reasons other people are saying what they're saying most of this place is just a venting mess because they're just trying to make themselves feel better... So it's therapy we had a really bad game everyone's venting and now we get to do it all over again sunday...So, basically, you exhausted yourself replying to the member, who made the thread, but suddenly got a HUGE surge of adrenalin to K.O. my comment. People talk on forums. People vent on forums. You say you are tired now? How tired will you be after reading the same thing repeated over the next five or ten years?
Who you kidding, on forum no one knows 624 words...Member starts a thread. Gets a 256-word reply.

...you do understand you are venting about your fellow members' venting, right? You are contributing to the so-called venting mess also. I'll stand by the fact that I have a right for a rebuttal..............you do understand you are venting about your fellow members' venting, right? You are contributing to the so-called venting mess also. Do you feel better now?
For what it is worth, Mr. Clean never tidied up while using manifestos. He always used the strong, bald-headed, silent approach instead. And that white t-shirt of his always remained pristine. Never got a gleamer of dirt on it. Ever. Weird.
Plus, he was never tired. How can anyone just pop into people's homes unannounced, all day long, week-after-week, cleaning up and NOT get tired? Always smiling. Never charging people. He never came to my house. Not fair...
/idiotic rant
A rebuttal? Of an open letter that Jones will never read? Are you seeking to disprove the effectiveness of a message the OP knew was dead on arrival before even typing it?I'll stand by the fact that I have a right for a rebuttal...........
