I'm more interest in seeing which players are cut from other teams and if we can improve a few positions.

Free's problem is more technique than strength although he's not the strongest guy on the team. This is beginning to be a perpetuated myth about his strength.

I want to see how McDermott does. He looked good in the OTAs. The proof will be how he does on grass against the A team. I suspect he will either make the roster or go on the PS. I have little to go on with that though so take it FWIW.

If he gets hurt again in training camp or preseason I don't see why he won't get hurt during the regular season even if you hold him out.

If you cross the street once your probability of getting hit is very low.

If you do it 100 times your probability of getting hit is much much higher.

I think the same thing about him. I'm penciling him in as Bernardeau's possible replacement next year.

With Collins aboard, Free and Bern should have some real NFL value over other suggested possibilities, when/if Weems and a couple of low priced Rookies can step into backup positions at Swing Tackle and Center.

he frankly is not strong enough and that is why he is so reliant on his technique; and that is not consistent. He is like a yo yo. Now I think the strength problem is not a question of him not working hard enough in the weight room- just the way he is. He is an example of the BS that you always hear 'he can always add weight and strength' about any player. Sometimes you cannot.

I respect your opinion but Callahan said he was strong enough. And he said it was technique as well as buying into the ZBS being taught. I talked with Broaddus (not phone) about his problems and it's always been his hands and punch. You're right he needs good technique but so do a lot of players. He is inconsistent both in the run game and also in the pass game with a couple of moves. He's very good with the outside rush. And he's good at power running just inconsistent at the first and second level. He's fine with zone blocking although not All Pro for sure.

He's above average but could be upgraded.

Good to see you around.

Here goes nothing:

QB (3)- Romo, Weeden, Vaughn. Really would like to go with 2 but don't think Vaughn is quite ready yet so three it is

RB (3)- Randle, DMac, Randle. Williams inability to stay healthy or contribute on ST dooms his chances

FB (1)- Clutts. Garrett loves a fullback

TE (3)- Witten, Escobar. Swain. They didn't give up a pick to cut Swain loose after camp. I think Hanna gets traded.

WR (5)- Dez, Twill, Beas, Street. Whitehead. Should be quite a battle for the last spot but Lucky gets it for his return abilities. Can easily see 2 more on the practice squad

OL (9) Tyron, Leary, Fred, Zack, Free, Weems, Collins, Mack, Green. Could see them going 8 and putting Green on IR. depends on his health

DL (10) Hardy, DLaw, Mincey, Gregory, Crawford, Hayden, McClain, Bishop. Gardner, Jack Crawford.

LB (7) Lee, RoMac, hitch, Wilson, Brinkley, Gachar, Wilber, would rather not keep Wilber but he sticks one more year.

CB (5) Carr, Jones, OScan, Patmon, Claiborne

S (4) church, JJ, Heath, white

ST (3) Bailey, Jones and French

Realize we will have to shuffle and little for the first 4 weeks. But other than that I think this looks solid

The fact you have MO as the last CB in the order, shows me you know your ****, and that this will be a winning squad.

I approve this message.

You get a -1 though for T-Will being the number 2 still. http://*************/a/img15/2228/timduncanokthatsenuf.png

But MO is more detrimental to this team. He's like a cancerous leg.

Ryan Russell not making the roster would be disappointing. I think he beats out Gardner. Russell, Gardner and Jack Crawford are probably battling for the final 2 spots when Hardy returns.

QB (3)- Romo, Weeden, Vaughn. Really would like to go with 2 but don't think Vaughn is quite ready yet so three it is
I would prefer only 2, but they'll probably keep 3. Wade Wilson claims Weeden is the most improved player on offense. IMO, if Vaughan is not ready to be the #2 this year, then it seems doubtful he'll ever become a #1. If he is never going to be a #1, then I'm not sure he worth the spot.

RB (3)- Randle, DMac, Randle. Williams inability to stay healthy or contribute on ST dooms his chances
You probably meant Randle, DMac and Dunbar. If Williams does anything, they might try to find a way to keep 4 considering the injury history of DMC and to some extent Dunbar.

FB (1)- Clutts. Garrett loves a fullback
I'm not a fan of keeping Clutts. He averaged about 10 snaps per game last year and Is not a great blocker.

TE (3)- Witten, Escobar. Swain. They didn't give up a pick to cut Swain loose after camp. I think Hanna gets traded.
Hanna has a more value to the Cowboys than to other teams. He got a lot of playing time last season because he knew the scheme and knew who to block. Swaim played some at FB in college and might be able to push a true FB off the roster.

WR (5)- Dez, Twill, Beas, Street. Whitehead. Should be quite a battle for the last spot but Lucky gets it for his return abilities. Can easily see 2 more on the practice squad
Agree.

OL (9) Tyron, Leary, Fred, Zack, Free, Weems, Collins, Mack, Green. Could see them going 8 and putting Green on IR. depends on his health
I can see Green staying on the PUP, but they rarely only keep 8 OL. Gibson has a shot if Green stays on PUP/IR.

DL (10) Hardy, DLaw, Mincey, Gregory, Crawford, Hayden, McClain, Bishop. Gardner, Jack Crawford.
Gardner, J. Crawford, Whaley and Russell are competing for 2 spots and that might be 1 spot after Hardy returns.

LB (7) Lee, RoMac, hitch, Wilson, Brinkley, Gachar, Wilber, would rather not keep Wilber but he sticks one more year.
The last spot Is between Wilber and Rivers. Rivers got good reviews in OTAs.

CB (5) Carr, Jones, OScan, Patmon, Claiborne
Agree. Too bad Claiborne can't be traded.

S (4) church, JJ, Heath, white
Agree, although White might end up being more of a 4th CB than 3rd Safety.

ST (3) Bailey, Jones and French
Agree.

Vaughn and Clutts are surprise cuts. Keep Ryan Russell and Swaim instead.

Otherwise, I agree.

Good job.

If Swim can block then you might have a chance at him being a Fback. I think they'd like that but I see it as a long shot. They might keep 4 TEs if they drop Vaughn which is fine with me.

I think we go long at DB rather than DL. One of the guys you picked can go to the PS.

The OL is versatile enough to go 9. I still worry about swing T.

They have to go with 7+ LBers.

Difficult cuts this year.
