*** is Jerry doing? these guys are railroading our best player to undermine our team.If Jerry doesnt know about this already then he better go ballistic after this.

The article contains two pieces of info which answer this question. One, Jerry was given Roberts opinion by a top executive during the investigation, and two, the fact that she was not in the meeting is in the NFL report

This "investigation" lasted a full year and the head investigator recommended no suspension. The NFL disregards this and then not only suspends the player but irresponsibly releases a bogus statement to justify their false "verdict". This statement goes a very long way in ruining a young man's reputation by labeling him one of the worst things a man can be called in society today.

If this information is true, you have to wonder the motivation of the NFL. What in the world are they doing?

this is unbelievable...

But Roberts’ recommendation never made it into the NFL’s final report and the official suspension letter on Aug. 11, which cited the league’s findings of three instances of domestic violence by Elliott against Thompson based on the victim’s testimony and photographic evidence.

Even more troubling is that when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell conducted a meeting to discuss discipline for Elliott, it included Lisa Friel, the senior vice president for investigations, Jeff Pash, executive vice president and general counsel and Adolpho Birch, senior vice president of labor policy and government affairs, among others.

But Roberts was not at the meeting, where Friel recommended a six-game suspension to Goodell.

If Roger Goodell has the integrity he attempts to project, he will resign. There is no other outcome that could preserve some molecule of personal honor.

Agreed. I can't recall the name of the writer who tweeted out that she thought this would mark the end of the Goddell era but she is looking like a prophet right now.

This appears to be the kind of scandal that can get you fired or have people calling for resignation. If not, you have to wonder if there is an anti-Cowboys agenda.

This is utterly shocking. It's so brazen it's hard to fathom the NFL thought they could get away with it. I can't wait to see the reaction tomorrow; that is if the social justice warriors in the media just don't glaze over it.
