What every member of the NFL press should do is call Goodell and ask for a comment. When he refuses to comment, indicate in a story that he was unwilling. He will get a tiny, tiny taste of what it feels like to be railroaded. And it will be perfectly ethical. In fact, it is the job of a decent journalist.
