So you are the supreme authority on character issues? I have made alot of mistakes in my life but somebody gave me a second chance. The kid has made alot of mistakes but who knows what one would do if suddenly handed a check for millions. I think Calvin Hill could be the best thing to ever happen to him.

He got in trouble right when the season ended after being suspended for 8 weeks.lol

Calvin Hill has become the most overrated Cowboy.

In 2005 Jerry told the team to take him off the Draft board. How much trouble has he been in since 2005?

I doubt his talent is that appealing to Jerry Jones. I could be wrong, but I don't see any scenario with him in Dallas as a Cowboy at this point.

Nor do I. The kid is just too much trouble. Also, I don't want to see the Cowboys bring in any more hard cases.

The Cowboys took a shot with T.O. And Owens has been nothing but a saint and a true playmaker. We gave Tank Johnson a shot, and he seems to have turned the corner with the possibility of becoming one of the game's elite DT's. Now we have Adam Jones, which is a considerable gamble considering his off-the-field transgretions.

Don't get me wrong, I believe everyone deserves a second chance. But adding Chris Henry would not be prudent.

How anyone could possibly think that is beyond me.

People think he changed Pacman. I doubt it. Pacman just knows he can't screw up anymore of hes broke/probrably dead. But I will let everyone praise Calvin Hill tho.

All I am saying is what is the cost to take a chance on a bum? If I am not mistaken we really don't owe Adam Jones anything do we? Nobody wanted TO at first including myself just for Star incident, but we paid him very well. Now I am not trying to compare the two because it is night and day but a team who is on the cusp should take the change out of their ashtrays and see if has anything to offer.

Ok... but now Jerry gets him at the risk-reward bargain/cut-em if bad price.... not top draft money.

FWIW, he was drafted in the 3rd round. Not exactly 'top draft money'.

Thanks I didnt bother to look. Where was he on our board and would it still be a cheaper deal now?

I would think..

I think talent-wise he was widely considered a late first rounder at that point, but seeing as how cincy didn't pull the trigger until the 3rd, I'd say most teams thought the character issues were pretty drastic.

...but yeah, I'd imagine he'd go for the league minimum right now.

I've got no horse in this race, but if we could get it done without him, I'd prefer that route...

Honestly I just want to know what it would cost to bring him to camp. I am by no means a cap wizard, but when I heard Henry's name it was associated w/ TDs. I would cut the guy for jaywalking if he was no good. If somebody can tell me the downside besides the fact the media will crucify us I would love to hear it.

bring Him in he has talent. winning is everything. he messes up see ya later. if a football player is dumb to make decisions as a pro, he's dumb but if he meses up as a Dallas Cowboy, he's a IDIOT. Best franchise in the NFL, you are wearing a star, respect it and honor it. Ask OWENS...They all change when they wear the star.

Gracias for the 411... agreed on... would rather win without him... but we all know Jerry. "Calculated Risk" and "Risk/Reward" - he has trademarks on those lol

In 2006... this cat had 9 TD's on 36 catches... that potential lined up with TO.... it nothing else... it "reads" good lol (a TD every 4 catches  )

He's only a deep threat, nothing more. I would honestly like to see Miles Austin get playing time.

If that is the case then that is all the more reason to bring him in. We DONT have a "deep threat"

Glenn is close to done or wont finish whole season... and...

Unless Austin starts to catch - HE AINT it... he gets one more year to see what is what..

After reading your post I want Henry MORE than before.
