I hope that is not the case. As far as I'm concerned Bledsoe,Romo,Henson and Baker are all Dallas Cowboys and I want to see each of them look good when out on the field.

wow, you really went out on a limb there buddy :p: :laugh2:

I sure did! :eek::

At first, I thought the dude was being serious and just didn't know the scoop. I need to change the batteries in my troll detector.

Never seen so many guys pulling for a QB who's never thrown a pass in a true game.

The only reason BP played Romo last week is b/c they've never seen what he can do.

BTW, Romo managed to fumble two snaps and we only scored 1 TD, against the Seahawks 'scrub' unit.

Anyone out there that thinks Romo is gonna start over Bledsoe, or that BP is gonna cut short Henson's development, is smoking some good stuff.

A lot of Romo fanz seem to be afraid of Henson playing? Wonder why?

Look, BP said that they needed to get a good look at Romo. He was given the entire 1st game of the preseason.

JJ even said that Romo would make a fine starter someday. [just not here]

We need to see more of Henson.

I think BP is afraid of Henson playing too. Doesn't bode to well for the guy:laugh2:

BP said he wants to get Romo 8 good quarters of work this preseason. Let's do some quick math for ya. There are 16 quarters this preseason. Romo gets 8. Bledsoe hasn't gotten any yet, I assume he'll get at least 5-6. That leaves 2-3 quarters for your boy minus any time baker may see. Yep, looks like Henson's gonna beat out Romo.

Drew Bledsoe's numbers from last year...
300-499-3,639 23TD 17Int 83.7 Rate

Tony Romo

0-0-0 0TD 0Int

Any of you Romo guys watch the KC game last year?

I don't get it. Are you arguing Henson is better than Romo or Bledsoe is better than Romo. We're pretty much all in agreement that Bledsoe is better than Romo right now. I thought you were on Henson's jock though?

he's strictly anti-Romo

I'm pulling for a member of this team. I expect Bledsoe to be our starter but I would like to think that if Romo is forced into action he would be able to do the job and giving him the reps he has gotten only helps his confidence and that of the teammates around him. He did a very good job last week and hopefully he will build on that through out the pre-season.

sarcasm movie line. It's fun to say when people say stuff that makes no sense

Please don't lower yourself by having to explain a classic line like that. If they didn't get it right off, they never will.

And you're pulling for one that has had how many regular season snaps? How did those work out by the way?

The only reason BP played Romo last week is b/c they've never seen what he can do.

Because Henson's salary has interfered with any reasonable attempt to get an undrafted free agent snaps.

BTW, Romo managed to fumble two snaps and we only scored 1 TD, against the Seahawks 'scrub' unit.

Actually the touchdown came when the majority of the Hawks 1st unit was still on the field.

Anyone out there that thinks Romo is gonna start over Bledsoe, or that BP is gonna cut short Henson's development, is smoking some good stuff.

The only people out there who believe this to be true are agenda driven...sounds like...you.

Not true !

If someone doesn't remember the line, they don't remember, ... when BP explained it, then I got it.

And I appreciated it.

Unless he pulls a hammy.....I say he plays one series in the 4th qtr if at all.....ROMO will play most of this game

Of course they are going to play Henson. After NFLE, he can't do much worse. This way, the Cowboys get to showcase Henson, and pray some team GM gets enamored with him. BP & JJ are going to do all they can to get as much out of this Henson deal as they can. They sure as heck don't want to have to release him. It would cost way too much to the cap.

I believe they really want to do what's best for both the team & for Henson. The only way they can do that is to allow the rest of the league to see him playing against a real NFL defense.
