I just remember last year when half the posters here said we were so deep at WR that Cooper needed to go. We traded him for nothing and our WR corps is decimated. Better hope Zeke is awesome this year.

Zeke and Pollard can pick-up some of the receiving out of the backfield. Still need a speedster that can be a true deep threat.

The biggest storyline from Oxnard will be the WRs failing to get separation consistently. Lets see if the front office will stay stubborn and not bring in outside help that’s not the same over sized WRs they currently have.

especially with a QB who doesnt throw to WRs without seeeing 5 yard separations, LOL.
Dak needs to cure that habit fast and start trusting WRs and throw to them , hit them in stride , only way he can evolve into the next level.

I don't think that's going to be an issue. If you look at the WRs we have, they get plenty of separation.

We are all kidding ourselves if you think the loss of Cooper and Gallup are not gonna be noticed. And you have to be open by two truck lengths for Dak to not hold the ball and cut it loose. The first few weeks of the season around here are gonna be crazy. Dak better put on his Kevlar media vest. And not read this board.

If Lamb can not demand the respect that Coop had, this very well might become an issue this season. However at the same time I am curious how our young WR rookie prospect performs. Will it be too much for him initially or will he come in and impress.

I wouldn't call this WR core decimated, Coopers time was up for whatever reason, and this offense will look different without Coop, but that doesn't mean we can't be effective.
Everyone that wanted to see more of Pollard are going to get their wish, he will be involved heavily out of the gate.
Washington will be interesting to watch, will be a shorter more conservative offense early on but might fit Daks comfort zone better, and nothing wrong with a dialed down attack, T.O.P is critical, and wears down a Defense.

I think he's a secret agent, sent by Russia to cause irreparable damage, by way of confusion . . .

They are clones of each other, big and oversized with average speed. They will be draped by the DBs all camp long. The run game, TEs and Pollard coming out of the backfield will keep the offense moving.

I would understand if this argument was for Noah Brown with 6+ seasons of opportunities but this was a rookie with limited snaps and when he did he created pressure.
Very little. I think he had 2 solo tackles. Could be someone’s pet cat. I rooted for him. Rooting for Ridgeway this year.
