Peterson's situation is different than Hardy's in that he requested reinstatement last year, was suspended last year, and missed those games. Hardy hasn't missed any games due to suspension yet.

They can do whatever they want to end it. The Commissioner's Exempt list was never used before and if players are smart it won't be used again.

They won't do it though because it makes too much sense and makes them look 'soft' on DV.
