Dallas Cowboys Only

14. David DeCastro OG, Stanford
45. Janoris Jenkins CB, North Alabama
82. Tank Carder ILB, TCU
113. Kheeston Randall DE/DT, Texas

I would be real excited with the first 2 Picks but honestly
don't know much about Picks 3 or 4. Whats your opinion ?

He has Carder ranked too high. Carder is doing a draft diary for his website, so he's trying to bump him up there. I personally love these picks if rounds 3 and 4 were swapped. Although, I think we might be able to get Carder in the 5th.

How does Janoris Jenkins, CB compare to Chase Minnifield, CB ?

I think Jenkins is one of the best prospects in this draft. Minnifield isn't that explosive, I think that is the big knock on him. I'd be glad to have either. Jenkins is rising to the late first in a lot of mocks, so if we got him at 45, that'd be great value.

Jenkins is more of a shutdown CB that will make plays on the ball when it comes his way. Minnifield isn't as sound coverage wise, but is a better ballhawk when the ball is in the air. He will make tons of highlight plays but will give up some plays as well. I would prefer Jenkins, but I wouldn't be disappointed one bit if the Cowboys got Minnifield instead.

I would be very happy if we got DeCastro and Jenkins...

First two picks are fine but Carder is a real reach in round 3. Besides if that is way the draft goes we need an OLB in round 3.Randall might turn out to be a decent 3-4 DE.

14. DeCastro OG
45. Jenkins CB
82. Massaquoi OLB
113. Reyes DE

Would be my preferences at the moment.

I really don't think Jenkins makes it to the second round after what he showed during Senior Bowl week. From all indications, he has interviewed well and looks to have put those negative situations behind him. The Only reason I don't have the Cowboys taking him is because I think Kirkpatrick will fall.

I would be pleased with it

If you had your Choice Kirkpatrick or Jenkins how would you go and why ?

Randall has potential to be a rotational 34 end. I like that pick, can always use some more bodies there. I'm not for Jenkins, he is too small and comes with the baggage. I think 14 is way too high to be taking a OG. That's another battle to fight though. I'd rather go d at 14. I don't really have a problem with drafting tank. I don't like it in the 3rd though. I'm starting to like that kid from Utah st. though, Bobby Wagner.

His size. Every time we play a big wideout, he kills us.

Little ones don't do so bad either!
We can shut down smaller wide outs at times. But over the last few years big wideouts have torched us.
