Is there another team with similar stats against them during the same time frame?

Nope. If you ranked the teams by opponents' field-goal percentage in 2003, 2004 and 2005, we were first in 2003, second in 2004 and are tied for first in 2005. No other team was even in the top eight for both 2003 and 2004, and we were in the top two. The closest team is Cincinnati (not a dome team), which was ninth in 2003, third in 2004 and fifth in 2005.

Over the same time frame in which our opponents are 68-for-72 (94.44 percent), the Bengals' opponents are 71-for-81 (87.65 percent). So they're not that close. Plus, five of their opponents' misses have come from inside 40 yards, and only four of their makes have come from 50-plus.

More carnage (comparing kickers against us since Game 13 of 2002 to kickers against everyone else from 2003 until now) --

Opposing kickers are 22-for-22 (100 percent) from 30 to 39 yards against us but have made only 82.6 percent against everyone else. The next-closest team is Oakland, whose opponents are 26-for-27 (96.3 percent).

Opposing kickers are 16-for-18 (88.9 percent) from 40 to 49 yards against us but have made only 69.7 percent against everyone else. The next-closest team is Seattle, whose opponents are 17-for-20 (85 percent).

Opposing kickers are 8-for-10 (80 percent) from 50-plus against us but have made only 53.4 percent against everyone else. We're actually not the worst at this distance -- Cincinatti's opponents are 4-for-4, and Green Bay's are 3-for-3.

Also, here are the opponents' field-goal percentages against each team during the regular season from 2003 until now. (Note that this DOES NOT include our opponents' 8-for-8 at the end of 2002 or 5-for-5 in the 2003 playoffs.)
