I agree, very weak tackler and I think he gets exposed playing slotSamuel is interesting, but I think they would want a more physical player that will tackle.

Agreed. But the team likely views it asI want Samuel. But the team might think Carson can compete with Elam for that position.
I think this guy.......will compete for the starting slot CB. I keep hearing he's def not a fit for Eberflus zone scheme coz his strength is man coverage. So why bring him ..........IMO he's a potential replacement for LewisI think Elam is our third corner
Just me, but I think Elam was brought in to compete for Lewis's starting slot position.CB 1 Diggs
CB 2 Elam
Slot Bland
I don't like that. Would rather have receiver and Amos in the 2nd.Will Johnson will be the pick at 12 if he’s available.
Amos is legit... he is my CB4 and probably won't make it to pick 44.I don't like that. Would rather have receiver and Amos in the 2nd.
Only problem with this. It's a contract year for Bland and he is not going to want to play a harder position. He not going to want to play slot, he'll try to stay outside to help him look good for money's sake. The dream-come-true scenario for the Cowboys is both Kaiir Elam and Caelon Carson turn into something. That allows them to bring Diggs back slowly and use Bland in the slot.
Its not Sanborns eitherIt will be interesting to find out what type of base coverage Eberflus will have the defense run. If they run a Tampa 2 style, it's critical to have a MLB that is adept in dropping back into coverage. I don't think that's ever been Murray's strength.
In about 6 weeks remember where you heard it first. Thanks for dusting the Cheeto dust off your fingers before typing that.
Wouldn't shock me if it is....If we get stuckHe won't be the pick at 12 by the Cowboys.
They will move bland inside. He’s good in the slotHilton or Samuel Jr
Muk doesn’t have the quickness to play slot. Bland is good in the slot, just plsy him thereWith Diggs out, they are, but I don't see adding more than one.
We have (Diggs), Bland, Elam, Carson, Butler, Goodwin, Hall, Pride. And that's not even considering the possibility of Mukuamu playing slot.
Even without Diggs, I think five of those make the roster: Bland, Elam, Carson, Goodwin and the best of Butler, Hall and Pride. That leaves one slot at most. Doesn't mean we couldn't bring in another FA AND draft a corner since Butler, Hall and Pride are not certainties.
I think we'll draft a corner in the first three rounds to fill that final slot and compete for a place in the top three. May even add one late in the draft to compete with Butler, Hall and Pride.
doubt trey last till round 3 buit crazier things have happenedDiggs is out recovering from surgery . Butter who showed promise is out even longer . Better draft a corner early play opposite Bland . Tre Amos Ole Miss round 3 fits the bill .
Mukuamu did well in the slot in the playoffs because he has length. It makes it hard to escape from him for quick throws underneath. Where he struggles in on the outside because he doesn't have the footwork/cutting ability to stay with receivers out of their breaks down the field. When he can sit and break on the ball instead of having to gather, he can use his length to break up passes.Muk doesn’t have the quickness to play slot. Bland is good in the slot, just plsy him there
