The receiver ran a terrible route. He rounded it off and drifted up so that Scandrick didn't have to go far to get to him. If he'd cut it off hard at the first down line, it would have been an easy first down.

Regardless......It was great coverage. Just like his coverage on Tate, the 1 play that was thrown in the end zone.

Seems like some of the players that we all thought would be great are finally stepping it up. Bruce Carter is one of them. His ability to sniff out a pass in the middle is impeccable and will be a major factor when we play against Green Bay.

You know before this season started I said the only way this team would contend is if some of our draft picks from the past two or three years would step up. Which that's been the story even more so on this run in December to now. Its been the Bruce Carter's, the Tyrone Crawfords, the Anthony Hitchens, the Cole Beasley's, the Zach Martin's.......make no mistake that we need Romo, Demarco and Dez to contend....but this success of this season is what happens when your young, youthful guys who are hungry step up. That's why I always said that those last few drafts from 2007 to 2009 really set this team back a few years.

This is truly what it takes to contend. Not big time free agent pickups. The drafts.

He was so excited after the game during locker room interviews. He's one of my top 5 favorites.

Yeah, never so Scandrick so excited and happy in an interview before, wish they would have shown more of the interview. The kid looked like he was ready to cry.
