Just saw that Obama and his national security team were planning this for 6 weeks. In this day and age where everything is leaked it is pretty amazing they kept a lid on this untill after it happened.

That's not generally how something like this works. Odds are that CIA was working on it after getting a tip on the courier. Obama gets a PDB each morning and is briefed on everything like this. There is/was a standing kill order for Bin Laden for 10 years. All Obama did was give the green light to take him out once he was in their sights.

And kuddos to Obama for doing so.
