OT Chuma Edoga is now free

You know you're in need of offensive line help when you're excited for the possibility of bringing in a player that didn't make the cut on a bad team. I don't mind bringing in Edoga or Leatherwood to see if they can offer more than some of the current backups. The Cowboys have found success with some cast-offs that ended up turning into starters.

He was prepared to offer a first, a third, and a 7th and then never play him. From what I hear. And it's a reliable source close to the organization.

The team was very intrigued by DeShaun Watson's legal troubles and actually offered four first round picks but Cleveland beat them to it. They are actively inquiring about Washington's running back who was shot in the stomach also. From what I hear a contract extension is in the works for boss man fat because they like his poor attitude and off the field problems.

I think that veterans only become vested after being in the league 4 years. Edoga is still on his rookie contract and just finished up 3 years so I don't think his salary would be guaranteed if he were signed prior to the first game of the season.
