Actually "Ragu" brand is takes it's name from a real homemade Italian sauce that can take hours to prepare and tastes like Heaven. So technically, Vizio could be Ragu and Samsung could be Ragu.

:laugh2: I'm just saying you shouldn't bust out the Ragu theory if you are in the presence of Italians. They might go and buy a Vizio.

Does this look like a solid TV for the price??

h.ttp://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11019324

No. :laugh2:

Honestly though, if you're spending sub $400 on a 32" TV, don't expect to get much.

Just doing a quick search, buy this Samsung 32" TV. You will love it a hell of a lot more than that one!

At Walmart you're going to pay tax, which is about the same as what I believe Tiger Direct will ship it for. ($29) Spend $50ish more dollars and get a far superior TV! Even if it's refurb!

I believe this is the same TV I have. I paid $650 for mine as an open box item at Best Buy some time ago.

Shipping is close to 50 when I checked.

The more I read the more I think i will wait till the first week of Sept. to buy.

Hoping the price will drop and I can get a Samsung 50 inch plasma that's 1080p for around a grand.

Although this 50 inch samsung plasma that's 720p is tempting at $900.

That Samsung is what I have...I have no complaints so far

That is a awesome deal but buying something refurbished scares the heck out of me.

I'd love to pull the trigger on that though but I believe i'd be better off getting a brand new RCA than a TV that already broke before.

I dont want this as a main TV. Just something for the bed room.

Thanks for your help though and any other advice would be appreciated.

"Bedroom" tvs you can get away with alot. I'd always go with price over quality for the bedroom. But 32" at 10+ feet won't bee that big....It'll look tiny. I have a 34" sony hd crt in the living room and it feels tiny and i'm pretty much in front of it. Unless you have the setup where the tv is right at the foot of the bed.

This is the truth. 32" is fine for a bedroom TV if you are 4-6 ft away, but anything past that you will regret it.
