OT: Lions to Win More than 10 Games

So, if let's say Romo comes out and says the same thing, are we complaining, laughing, rolling our eyes? I don't know, if I was a starting QB for an NFL franchise, I sure wouldn't be saying, "Hell, I think we'll finish w/ about 5 wins, because we are the Lions."

The point being, don't you WANT your starting QB thinking positive? What's wrong w/ it? I commend Kitna for saying it, no matter how unrealistic it might be, there is still a chance and when your starting QB is thinking that way, it flows down through the team.

You maybe keep it to yourself until you win atleast 8 games in a season

I can't stand Kitna ever since he ran his mouth after the Cowboys laid an egg against the Lions. His first pass, the first play, was picked off and taken to the house by Roy W. Oh how I hate stupid officiating. On that same play, T-New knocked the bejesus out of that Furrey clown who went on to defame the star. Wade, if your reading this, go back and get the sound of this one year wonder ripping James and Newman. Play it before the game, and then go out and drill them.

The Lions are one of the teams I see as possible sudden turn around teams this year. Kitna is better than average by far. That team has got a lot of talent. It appears they have a good coach. They play in a division I see as weak. Although it could surprise and send two teams this year. I wouldn't bet on it, I'm not even saying its liable to happen, only that it would not totally shock me either.

I'd say 5-8 wins are likely depending on how the other division teams play.

Sure Kitna is selling Kool Aid but the Lions are starting to get there IMO.

Mike Martz will not run the ball. If he would have handed the ball to Marshall Faulk, the Patriots would only have two Super Bowls. Kitna will thow some picks and get them beat at some point. They will present a real challenge. I am banking on our front seven pounding Kitna into ground. They better or else.

I would put Newman on Roy Williams; Newman is faster. I wouldn't let him beat me anymore.
