OT: Money buys everything--MJ skates on every charge

My prediction: not guilty on all the major counts, maybe get one of the lower ones but will not serve any prision time or anything like that. I'd be surprised if the jury could all agree on a sentencing.

Those are my thoughts as well. He's got too much green to be convicted of anything major.

Even if he's convicted of anything, I imagine his lawyers have appeal papers already drawn up. I think this thing will tie the legal system up in Cali for awhile.

One of the networks said that if he's found guilty, he'll be taken into custody ASAP. His attorneys will not only have to file a Notice of Appeal, but get him out also.

Disgusting. Once again, a celebrity gets away with it. He's molested children over & over but money buys you freedom every time. Maybe he can join OJ on the golf course looking for the real criminal.

Sorry, I know it's OT, but it just makes me sick.

Can't say I'm suprised by the verdict and may not agree with all of it but he was judged by 12 and I'll accept it.

If you're a celebrity, you just can't be guilty. I would have at least thought he'd get one of the lesser counts.

Note to parents: DON'T BRING YOUR KIDS TO NEVERLAND.

The state of California counted convict a clown of waring make-up.

Not surprised. I think the prosecution wasn't able to make their case, since it appeared to have been based on a lot of circumstantial evidence. JMO.

Well... I hope that California enacts a new law and makes it a criminal offense to have a child within 100 yards of Mr. Jackson... that way we won't face this again...

To be fair, the jury heard a lot more than any of us...

They are more able to decide on the case obviously

I agree. I'm not saying MJ is innocent or guilty but given the facts this jury evidently found no wrong doing.

Word. Glad the people on this thread weren't on the jury and hope they are never on mine.

I honestly don't know if he is guilty or not - haven't been following it that closely, in spite of the media frenzy.

However, when I heard that he was not guilty on all 10 counts (including the giving alcohol to minors), it seemed kinda strange to me.

Either the guy is completely innocent, or the jury was starstruck.

What a disgrace. I also heard one of the jurors and the dumb women cant even speak English. What kinda crap is this. Sounds like this jury had 12 child molesters on it. That is all I can figure. UnFNbelievable.
