Hey guys, I'm testing my new broadcast server. If anyone would be so kind as to connect, and post back here if you were able to connect and how the quality was, I sure would apprecieate it.

Here's how you connect:

1. Open windows media player
2. click on file, then click on open url
3. Enter this into the url box
http://67.187.181.57:8080
4. Click OK

That's it, you should be connected. I have it set up to allow 5 connections. So, all you have to do is connect and then leave. (Feel free to stay connected as long as you want.

Mods: Feel free to move this post to the appropriate forum, I just posted here as it gets the most traffic.

Thanks in advance.

First of all you should have mentioned that its nflnetwork.(some don't have it and might want to check it out)

I only have 1 meg dsl, it works but I do have a lot of buffering/choppy spots.

Im using Vista and Windows Media Player 11 and im sure its something really simple but i cant find out how to open a url on it. It doesnt have File and all that.

Hit Ctrl + U.

Good sound and picture quality, but buffering like crazy.

Looking great!! Running it on Vista. Do you plan to broadcast some of the seasons games? This method doesnt redistribute the load to others who are also viewing unlike p2p apps such as Sopcast. Have you tried it with Sopcast yet?

looking great and soudns great for me too...way better than sopcast/tvu player channels...

nice job =)

looks and sounds good here, I wish I knew how to do these things lol

Works great. Great quality. Hope to catch ya on some game days when i dont get the game :). Seems to work better then sopcast.

connected...looked and sounded great...buffered after 2 minutes..

I'll be broadcasting all the games this season. I will take 5 each week. In addition Stargazer will be streaming my broadcast via sopcast, so we should be able to cover alot of people.

Thanks for all the help guys. Looks like most had a good experience. Broadcast will be up all night if anyone wants to watch NFL network.
