Hard to believe, but if you think about, they have not been that bad in pass pro. When they mess up, it's bad but It hasn't been that often. 7% is about 1 out of 13 pass rushes.

I would say in the Tampa Bay game that it's fair to blame the pressure for part of the failure. However, I don't feel that was scheme as the Bucs attacked with blitzes and simulated pressure from all over and we just didn't seem prepared for what they were throwing at us. We didn't recognize it, we didn't pick it up and we didn't counter it.

It's not on the OT if he's blocking down on a lineman and someone blitzes off the edge to hit the QB. I think this is only counting the defenders who are engaged by the OTs.

Doesn't mean he isn't getting pressure up the gut.

It does appear the problem with Cowboys when it comes to pressure is stunts up the middle. Overall our pass blocking has been among the best in the NFL.

And pressure up the middle is much harder to deal with than from the edge.

Speaking of possible future OT does Shelton have a phantom injury and he’s being redshirted because at some point you don’t bring Steele back would be nice to know Shelton could actually compete at RT as a starter .
