"Don't like" doesn't do justice to the feelings of loathe and disgust I have for Coward (correct spelling in my opinion).

The day he's booted once and for all will be a happy day.

And the day when I might turn ESPNRadio back on at 10:00!

Amen to that!!! :hammer:

In November 2005, Cowherd was criticized for his treatment of the death of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler Eddie Guerrero. Cowherd used the phrase "who cares" in regards to Guerrero's death, saying it was not newsworthy. Many fans were outraged, and Cowherd was publicly reprimanded by ESPN George Solomon and ESPN Radio general manager Bruce Gilbert.

He also didn't think the Haynesworth-Gurode incident was worth a 5 game suspension because he didn't really do anything.

Why is there so much fuss over this guy? He is a complete spare.

Thank God I live in DFW and I am not forced to listen to espn's lineup of crap.

Cowherd is not even carried in Dallas on our local espn, and he is always talking about the cowboys and trying to get a charge out of everyone it seems.

What a loser, if he were any good he would be on in a market this size. He has no chance of competing in this market because of how good the ticket is though, much like fox radio as it went away quickly, thank god.

Isnt cowherd the one who said Dallas would have a meltdown after carolina beat us and johnson had a better game than owens, isnt this what everyone was saying he thought would happen? How did that work out.

he is like a poor mans jim rome with marbles in his mouth from the 3 or 4 times I have heard him.

OK.. I'll admit that I don't live I live in the area and that i have only listened to the ticket for about 4-5 hours total online but... that station is just awful.. do they even talk about sports? Maybe I missed the "good show"... but I would listen for an hour and all I would here is a couple of idiots rambling on about nonsense. I don't think I even heard one cowboys conversation of any serious value or insight.

It's like the "the cooler" or "the lunch break" on the cowboys radio... they are useless. Talkin' Cowboys is the only one of those shows worth listening to.

Anyway... I think some of you are missing the point of his show.. he doesn't actually believe half the stuff he says.. he just knows that it will piss enough people off that they will call in.. it's almost like playing devils advocate..

When people call in all worked up over something it makes for some entertaining radio...

I'd take his show over Steven A Smith any day of the week

He is a cheap version of Jim Rome. Always takes the opposite stand for an argument.

Complete meathead.

The ticket is incredible man. You have to listen to it all the time to get it though. It is perfect as far as a sports station goes. Perfect, they are trendsetters.

They are the number 2 ranked sports station in the country behind the channel in Boston.

Just listening in for a few minutes here and there you will not get it and you will say it is stupid. You have to listen all the time and get to know the people. It is great.

there is nothing else like it, I have heard alot of stations driving back and forth across the country about 7 times now in 4 years and being from ny I can tell you there is nothing else like it.

Erik Kasilias does it the right way, he creates thought-provoking topics all the time. And he doesn't have to stoop to unsubstantiated nonsense to do it.

Coward's "act" smacks of desparation.

I have to put up with him at my affiliate and I guess I just don't see that as "good radio". The guy doesn't even have the balls to let a caller stay on if the caller is making him look like an idiot. He just cuts them off and gets the last word. Coward is right. The worst for me was last year before the National Championship game between Texas and USC. He went on for weeks about how USC was like pro-ball and they could beat a bad pro team, and how they were going to pummel Texas and Big 12 football couldn't be compared to PAC-10. After the beat down Texas laid on USC not a word form Coward. What a putz.
