Coillins belongs at LG. HE will be a perennial Pro bowler/all pro at that spot. Green, if he works on his technique can replace free in a year or two. I honestly think we only keep Hardy for one year to let Gregory put on some weight and get his skills up working with on of the best (Hardy). I think Tank and Gregory will be our edge rushers of the future.

That would be a mistake, IMO.

It's T-shirt and shorts but you can just tell Gregory is legit.

That is a fact. He really does just look smooth and athletic. Fluid. You can see right away what made him a top 10 pick before the combine.

Hopefully he's our Dez Bryant on defense and we're all laughing at the rest of the league in a few years for passing on a player that is a little immature.

I think teams are going to be kicking themselves for passing on him... particularly the teams who had a shot at him in round 2 and didn't take it. He has so much going for him with his smarts, long arms, and great lateral movement for a guy his height.

I really like the guy's potential.

That's good that he is getting noticed but I'm not going to get too excited until the pads come on.

I've watched him a lot in past training camps. He has impressive physical ability but was very raw when he first arrived.

In a local radio interview they asked Fred which player had impressed him in the weight room this offseason. His answer was Weems.

Even more good news! I hope he is not your next Jermey Parnell. :)

Why not? Parnell saved the season when Free was injured. It was one of the rare occasions were the team got better when a starter was out. Parnell should have been the team MVP for saving the season. Romo would have been out last season and maybe this one also if Tony Hills had to replace Free.

Too bad I don't play fantasy football. The RB in Jax is will likely lead the league if they just run him behind Parnell. :omg:

I also like his smarts. That goes along way in the NFL.

I love that we are back in the 4-3, but I swear this from 7 may be better suited to the 3-4 than any team we fielded in that defense. We are loaded at the 3-4 OLB types; Loaded with ILB types; loaded at 3-4 DE types.....NT might be the only weak spot and that's because we haven't looked for one. I don't want to go back to the 3-4....just an observation about the types of guys we have.

OK, let me rephrase: we will keep hardy if he doesn't take us to the woodshed for money. If we can retain him for a fair price then I'd love to have him. Do I think that'll happen? No. I think Hardy is going to be playing with such a chip on his shoulder he will make every other DE look silly. Because of this he will want top dollar next year and I don't think the cowboys will feel inclined to give it to him with Tank and Gregory already here.

I think Hardy will give dallas a little help financially due to their willingness to give him a chance. Players remember that. I could be wrong however, money does talk.

I do think Seattle and NYG SB teams both proved that having a healthy rotation of pass rushers is essential. Hardy+Lawrence+Gregory+ Mincey all staying and rotating will be fun to watch.
