So he’s not suppose to be generous to his best players and allow them to walk? That would be incompetent. That is because Jerry is an incompetent GM.

No he is not. He is supposed to pay them fair market value. He is not supposed to over pay all of his superstars. So he’s not suppose to be generous to his best players and allow them to walk? That would be incompetent.
Not sure where you’ve been but the top players are all resetting the market. Jerry was lucky to sign CeeDee for less than Justin Jefferson. Jamar Chase just reset the market. If you don’t pay these players what they’re demanding you’ll lose them and someone else will pay them. That’s life in the NFL.No he is not. He is supposed to pay them fair market value. Yes, you reset first not last. Where have you been. GM Jethro signs his stars last. Not sure we’re you’ve been but the top players are all resetting the market. If you go heavy 12/13 packages it could make sense. But they never went all in.He wasn’t playing behind a Jason Witten. It gave him a lot more opportunity. Drafting him in the 2nd round when we had Witten never made a lot of sense, especially considering we traded Fasano who we drafted in the 2nd round.
They never went all in because Bennett wasn’t what they were hoping for. They had big plans for a two TE offense to add another element to the passing game but Bennett struggled with his assignments. He couldn’t even line up correctly. If you go heavy 12/13 packages it could make sense. But they never went all in.
That’s easier said than done. It takes two to make a deal. Jerry’s made offers but he’s dealing with agents looking to get the best deal for their clients. From what I’ve read an offer has been made to Parsons but his agent has to agree to it.Yes, you reset first not last. Where have you been. GM Jethro signs his stars last.
Jerry's priority is signing FA's that no one wants, his stars can wait.
Right. Chase is making $6 million more APY than Lamb after signing a year later. That's the market. Lamb waited until after Jefferson's deal, with his agents understanding that Jefferson would set the market. Not sure where you’ve been but the top players are all resetting the market. The only problem I have with the way the Joneses do it is that they seem to extend an offer that is lower than they are ultimately willing to go because they are not in a rush. They don't seem to care if a top player misses OTAs, minicamp or even some of training camp. That’s easier said than done. It takes two to make a deal. Agreed. We are not paying fergi specially with bland, Smith, maybe Pickens coming up for contracts. Schoon will be the starting TE next year and we will draft another one.Unless Ferguson continues to have injury issues and Schoon beats him out that won’t happen. Ferg will probably walk after his deal is up but unless Schoon takes hold of the position, TE will be high on our list in the draft. We need an elite TE. All our championship teams had one.
We all know GM Jethro's talking points. That’s easier said than done. It takes two to make a deal. Jerry’s made offers but he’s dealing with agents looking to get the best deal for their clients. From what I’ve read an offer has been made to Parsons but his agent has to agree to it.
Schoon will not be the starting TE in 2026 unless he earns the job. He’s going to have to look a lot better than he has to do that. Our starting TE could be a highly drafted rookie in 2026.Agreed. He started a few last year. Will again this year. He has looked fine. Performed when given the chance.Schoon will not be the starting TE in 2026
If we lose fergi next year. There is schoon and spann-ford...and UDFA. At that point I think schoonnis top of depth chart. Not a good TE. But just how the roster will be. Unless we draft oneSchoon will not be the starting TE in 2026 unless he earns the job. He’s going to have to look a lot better than he has to do that. You left out part of my quote. I didn’t say for certain Schoon wouldn’t be the starter in 2026. I said “Schoon will not be the starting TE in 2026 unless he earns the job.” He only started last season because Ferguson was injured. He performed okay but nothing great. His last 4 starts only produced 10 catches for 110 yards. Not terrible but certainly nothing that would make most think he’s on course to be our starter. He’s going to have to take a big jump in 2025 for TE not to be high on our list in 2026, provided Ferguson doesn’t explode and have a huge season. He started a few last year. Will again this year. He has looked fine. Performed when given the chance.
If we lose Ferguson and the others don’t produce enough TE will be high on our list. Even Shultz wasn’t good enough for us to extend him a couple of years ago. We’re going to be looking for a great TE prospect. If we lose fergi next year. There is schoon and spann-ford...and UDFA. At that point I think schoonnis top of depth chart. Not a good TE.
