David Arkin is your first-team right guard today. Wonder if that changes from week to week while Mackenzy Bernadeau is out.

That's interesting.

Hahaha everybody(alot) here was saying this dude was a goner lol

Just some walk through stuff to start with here, but worth mentioning that WR Raymond Radway looks like he'll be full-go.

Mackenzy Bernadeau is the new Wally Pipp! :laugh2:

If that was for me I never said he had the starting spot the season is a long way away hes got time to prove himself or show hes not ready or doesn't have it....etc

My point was all the people saying all this stuff before the player even gets on the field.

It's early, but Morris Claiborne has been bouncing around. The Cowboys top draft pick looks like a guy happy to have a cast off his wrist.

Josh Ellis‏@DCStarJEllis
Third round pick Tyrone Crawford is not practicing. Neither are Jermey Parnell, Kevin Kowalsko or Alex Albright.

Rob Phillips‏@robphillips3
No Tyrone Crawford (calf) at OTA practice either. That's five of seven draft picks unavailable today. Matt Johnson is still in school.

Todd Archer‏@toddarcher
No practice for Kevin Kowalski and Jermey Parnell. Rookie DE Tyrone Crawford out 2 (calf)

Josh Ellis‏@DCStarJEllis
No DeMarcus Ware, Marcus Spears or Jay Ratliff. And of course Mike Jenkins isn't here either. These are voluntary workouts.

Nick Eatman‏@nickeatman
Sixth-rounder James Hannah is the highest draft pick practicing today.

True.

Someone here told us Arkin was not in the Cowboy's plans this year.

It was several people who said this. Rumors, just rumors that people use to push their agendas.

Jon Machota‏@jonmachota
Morris Claiborne working with a trainer on the side. He does have a wrap on his left wrist.

I believe it was Sturm who indicated his sources felt Arkin was not liked by the new OL regime (Callahan).

All that said him starting now means little.

BP used to give guys significant time in TC to be sure he wanted to cut them. Also allowed them to build some tape for other teams while hiding guys he really liked.

Probably, but why isn't Nagy being put in at RG with the first team?

All I'm saying is that people were very quick to dismiss Arkin w/o a single practice under his belt in year 2.

Charean Williams‏@NFLCharean
DeMarcus Ware isn't at OTAs today. His sister graduated and he still is out of town.

I wonder who got first-team snaps at that position yesterday?

Josh Ellis‏@DCStarJEllisIndividual drills right now. Can't tell if Andre Holmes is Randy Moss or Randall Williams just yet.

Nice to hear some good news about Arkin.

Hopefully he makes the most of the opportunity.
