If Williams has these issues throughout the next few months, I fear Jerry is gonna get anxious and start making phone calls during the wee hours of the morning after run-ins with the 50 year old man named Mr. Balvenie.

Love me some Balvenie.

I don't want Da Beas returning punts. He's too integral to the offensive game plan now to risk it.
I agree. One of Beasley's strongest attributes is his quickness, not speed. He's fully capable of making some tacklers miss so the opportunities would be there for him to break off some big returns. My concern is his size combined with tacklers running at him in full sprints. Again, he can make some first would be tacklers miss but I worry about secondary tacklers squaring him up and blowing him out of the frame. Beasley's tough but I don't want him taking too many of those kind of shots.

Because Cribs, Welker, and even Prime, are huge guys?

J.J. Wilcox getting a lot of punt return reps, along with Beasley and Nick Harwell.

I dont know why, but I read that as JJ Watts (Houstons DL) and thought wow, hes a heck of a D lineman if he can return punts too. Then I re read it in a quote and it finmally clicked in my brain WILCOX, not Watts. But I was impressed for half a minute.

And it's bad when you actually feel sorry for the returner if the punter has to tackle him.

Watt may do that for Houston, he already plays DL and TE. lol

Can we please not do the size comparison thingy? We can do that with practically any player. Say, how about linebackers? I love me some Sean Lee. He and Luke Kuechly are about the same size. Their injury history do not parallel each other though...

Bottom line, I would like someone else doing return duties full-time instead of Beasley. He's a third down conversion machine. I rather see him on the field in those situations instead of undergoing concussion protocol tests on the sideline. Just how I feel about the proposition, that's all.

Chaz Green really needs to get his conditioning squared away. Hard to get in shape from the trainer's room.

Beaz wasn't very good at in anyway when they tried him before.

disappointed rolando is deciding to rehab in alabama.

I still think it's encouraging he was here participating up until the knee scope. Hopefully it's because he has relationships and trust with the AL people. I hear they have the best sports doctors in the country.

But I would prefer him here. Let's see what happens at Mandatories.
