I want The Cards...
Really would love to see Dez vs Double-P rematch! With Romo in the Blue corner this time!!!!

Me too. The Cards have played us tough regardless of year/records. Also it usually involves some fluke play. Would be great to see a physical beatdown by Boys, and Dez/others rip their secondary...

Go Cowboys

Speaking of the Lions how come Stafford doesn't get bashed on the level that Romo does when Romo fails to get to the playoffs or win a playoff game. Haters are quick to put all of he blame on Romo even though it's not all of his fault and other problems with the team were to blame.

But everybody keeps on saying how talented the Lions are and with this "talented" team Stafford fails to get them to playoff success. Will Stafford ever get bashed the way that Romo does. Or is it just a hate on Romo/Cowboys thing?

He will through it up to CJ. If a team can take him out Stafford is average.

I have been kind of bored tonight, so I decided to take a look at other teams we might face in the playoffs message boards. The consensus is..........most do not want to see Dallas. Seattle appears to be the most worried about us since we already won there.

Detroit fans are like usual, calling Romo a choker and they expect him to mess up in the big game but they are still worried some. GB's fans don't want to face Seattle but they think they can handle us easily due to match-ups, I tend to agree but they are not unbeatable. Very few of their fans are worried about us and that is the way I like it.

It is interesting that quite a few are giving Tony props and saying that he has never played like this and that Murray is benefiting from Linehan's calling.

Nothing ground-breaking here, just fun to read others views.......

Green Bay went up there to Seattle to start the year and got manhandled......

....and they still want to play them again....lol.

I guess we will find out after this weekend, but I wonder if there is a scenario where the Boys could host the NFC championship game?

Seeding scenario:
#1 Seattle
#2 Green Bay
$3 Dallas
#4 Atlanta
#5 Az
#6 Detroit

Dallas Beats Detroit, Atlanta beats AZ

Then Atlanta upsets Seattle, Dallas beats GB

Atlanta@Dallas for the championship

No one cares about Detroit thus no Stafford hate

Stafford, Ryan, RIvers, Smith, Cam, etc, they all hide under the Romo shroud, immune from criticism because of the shadow America's Team's Quarterback casts with the media.

BTW - those opposing fans who say Romo has never played better - that may be true at this current ridicules level, but he's played at a higher level than the team has for several years. Those fans just bought into the cliched narratives of the media in the past.

I want stomp AZ then whip Seattle on the way to destroying Green Bay.

Anything that gets us there!
But I'm pretty sure that after Wk 17, AZ in round one is not an option.

In all honesty I don't think this team is intimidated by anyone anywhere. They very well could go one and done but I don't see it without taking their opponent down to the wire. They just seem to have a lot of confidence in one another. They are truly a team and seem to be gaining a head of steam at the right time. Where it all ends remains to be seen and at the very least could be the start of something special.

That's pretty much what I've found as well, although the Seattle fans I've come across seem to feel that Dallas beat the injured Seattle, not the real Seattle, and the real Seattle will not lose at home to anyone twice, and certainly not the Cowboys.

If you get bored and want to get them riled up, ask them how long it's been since they faced a top 10 QB. Just so you know, it was October 12, and it was Tony Romo. During this 5-game win streak, they beat AZ back-ups twice, Kaepercan't, and Butt Fumble. Next, they play St Louis. In the divisional round of the playoffs, they'll either play AZ or a bad NFCS team. It's very possible that they don't face an excellent QB until the NFCCG. That would be over 3 months of beating average to bad QBs. Seattle is 2-2 against top 10 QBs this season, beating Rodgers and Manning, but not Rivers and Romo. BTW, the 2 QBs not scared to throw to Sherman's side? Rivers and Romo.

Much praise for your awesome post! Never thought about it that way and Seattle is beatable. Their using the excuse that they had hurt players and that they weren't 100%. Well see. But I think among all the teams that can beat Seattle, we have the best chance. We match up pretty well against them. I frankly think we can beat them twice in their own house.

Of course there is. In any playoff game, the higher seed always hosts the lower seed.

If Dallas is the No. 3 seed - which it most likely will be - that means Dallas would host the NFC title game in any event that its NFC-title-game opponent is the No. 4, No. 5 or No. 6 seed.

This assumes, of course, that the Cowboys advance to the NFC title game.

We didn't have Romo for the full four quarters against the skins or at all against the Cards. Injuries are part of it, cry me a river. Based on their theory of injuries we should be heading into the Skins game 13-2. Hell lets throw Sean Lee into the mix damn I think we should be undefeated. Get over it, Dallas spanked that arse and could very well do it again. But, but , the refs "hate" them. They win though if they are completely injury free and the refs comply to their rules and there is no drama and it's at their sradium and if they take the game to heart and if their season ticket holders don't sell their tickets and if their crowd is into it and......... Get the picture

That was a good post. I don't buy SEA's injuries. I do buy that their chemistry has improved dramatically since getting rid of the cancer in their locker room. This is a team that's firing on all cylinders right now. That said, we didn't just beat them in SEA. That was a game we controlled fairly much from start to finish. I know there was a point where they had come back and needed the big toe-drop to convert and put it away, but we did beat them pretty soundly. A rematch would be a very different football game. Not that we couldn't win it, but it'd be a lot harder-fought at this point.

I also think our team chemistry is rock-solid right now. We've elevated our game dramatically the last three weeks. It will be an awesome matchup in the playoffs if we're lucky enough to see it.
