So Tua had a +4 TD-turnovers....not bad!

Great game, . Just a note to never-ever mention Td passes output including turnovers....or vice-versa.

Still...a +4 is outstanding.

He and Lamar both did it in the same game.

Wow. Tua just broke a record held by Griese for most TDs in a game. Even Marino didn't do that.

not to take everything away from Tua but Griese and Marino played in leagues when the defenses could absolutely maul the quarterbacks and put hands on receivers in and out of their breaks

again, nothing against Tua but context is important……I wish the NFL still had many if the same rules that existed in the 70-90’s when I fell in love with it….. Sometimes more is less

So if you run good routes but do not catch anything that is a good game? You are paid to catch the ball. You are not paid to be a distraction. You are not paid to exist. You are paid to catch the ball and score TDs. If you cannot do that you had a bad game. Any number 3 or 4 WR on a team can do what he did last week. You are not paying him to do that. You are paying for what he did this week.

It’s crazy how easy it is for todays players to put up gaudy yards these days.

You could make that argument about 90% of WRs on any given week. You did not say anything that makes him worth being a number 1.
