Sign JK dobbins in free agency; 26 years old and a career 5.2 ypc (often against defenses that are not bottom of the league in run defense). 1000 yards from scrimmage and 9 tds last year. Shouldn’t be too expensive, I would guess 6-7m a year. There is your Home Run threat.

Then ready a big boy in the 4th-5th round. Someone 6’2, 235. The draft gurus here can immediately think of who that could be.

Try and bring Dowdle back at a reasonable price (3-4m). Then you can put your pet project on the PS squad in case there are any injuries. I doubt anyone will snatch up Vaughn and his great 6.2 ypc on 6 carries against the 30th ranked run defense.

That would be a substantially improved run game from 2024

Watch other games, everybody has two backs better than anyone we have, it's pathetic.
The Irony, so let's go see these running backs you're talking about if every team has two why is Rico 12th in yards and why does he have the exact same yardage as Tony Pollard with 25 less carries and look at the guys just above him and Connor guys below him in mixon and what not literally guys you said you wanted over what we had go look at this list it's eye opening... I already said it in my other post I don't think Harris or cream hunt or side of these other guys were better all Rico needed was more carries I think he could easily got close to 1400 yards this year if he was utilized properly and they got the line figured out and the commitment to the run when they needed I'm not saying we don't need one running back in this draft a really good one but that doesn't make what we have trash.. You don't know what you're talking about trying to tell me that there's 62 running backs better than Rico that's what you're trying to tell me.

The numbers say otherwise the more Rico is used the better he got he is not exceptional in anything but neither a lot of these other guys these are guys that you hand the ball a lot like Harrison Pittsburgh you just hand him the ball a lot and you get a run game established you can open up play action you have to have a running back that could do The Dirty work and he is one of them yes it would be nice to have another one that has the burst and the range and the game breaking ability and the creativity to add to it that doesn't make Rico trash This is why your eyes are glued shut because you don't know what you're talking about you're a casual fan that just thinks he knows in his mind what's right and how it worked out and it's not really that way they were talking about Rico the last six weeks as one of the best backs to finish the season he's not elite he's not special but he's actually very good NFL back....

No one's arguing we don't need to pick up a running back in this draft in the first 3 rounds hopefully it's a guy with speed but your opinion of our running backs is absolutely wrong without taking into account who is calling the place who is blocking etc
Aaron Jones has 255 carries for 1138 yards and rico has 1079 yards on 235 carries work that out in your head and figure out rico's not as bad as you think... The problem here is we were being led to believe we had it run issue because we didn't have enough players but the problem was Mike McCarthy his play calling the blocking scheme the commitment to the run it was not good they didn't start doing this till late and as soon as they did Rico popped up and looked like one of the solid running backs in this league..

I agree and I'm OK with fans having suggestions or stating what they don't like, but here's the thing I don't want Mike McCarthy back ,but if we have him back, I would like him to not be the offensive coordinator...

The thing is if he is what am I going to do about it I'm a big time fan and I will be a fan next year with the same energy I have every year nobody should be making these conditions on how they're going to be a fan like if they don't do this they better do this if not then what exactly what they're going to watch less of the games or go to less of the games or not wear their jerseys anymore it doesn't that doesn't matter..

Jerry will always do Jerry things and most of us don't agree with half of the stuff he does but it's not going to change the way I'm a fan I'm never going to put conditions on whether I'm going to support the Cowboys or not I will always be a cowboy fan that is where the Dallas Cowboys fan for life thing comes from ,the ones that don't put conditions on how they're going to watch or support the team.....

I hope there is a lot of changes I would love to see it but if not it is what it is a new year New Hope same energy I'm going to be pulling for them hard right from game one..
I'm always going to be a Cowboys fan, but I am also going ot B**ch to high heaven when they do stupid things.

How many NFL players sucked in college? Thanks for showing what a great college player he was. Not too many bad college players get drafted though.
How many crappy HS players get drafted in the top 5 of the first round? I can only think of Trance.

Guaranteed, Deuce would be used much better by your coaches and perform better playing for your team. Might perform better than some of your current RBs as well.
Deuce would have gone undrafted his father didn’t work on the team. Your guarantee is based on a hope and a prayer, and nothing concrete. He is not better than the RBs we have, nor Dowdle

Lol, there was a point i stood up for his untapped "potential." Those days are past. Hell there was a point i stood up for Gallup too. I bet you could rewind the clock and see me saying, "this Quincy Carter kid is alright."

Yeah but the problem here is a fan some of the things people call stupid need a larger perspective and not use emotions when they're judging things fans do not coach better they do not call plays better they not make better decisions than coaches they just think they do they think they know what the problem is when they really don't we have guys on that team both in the front office the players the coaching staff that experience been doing this their whole lives and sometimes from behind the screen fans say stupid things about stuff they have no real idea of what really went wrong with certain plays or decisions so they need to check themselves as well...
