Thanks! The rx-8 is great handling car which is one of the main reasons I bought it. The other being it is a rotary powered car with 4 usable seats so I can take my kids with me.

Alright! Another 2nd gen F-Body fan! They're out there. A friend of mine has a '79 Z-28 in the black with orange trim. Nice look.

I've also seen a couple that were silver with gray trim.

I just bought my first car this weekend! I'd been going carless for the past few years and couldn't take it anymore.

It's a 2009 Hyundai Elantra. I settled on it after seeing the review it got on consumer reports. I was going for reliability and practicality above all else. So far I'm very happy with my purchase.

Although this is not my actual car, it is the same year, model and color (except I have gray interior).

And whoever came up with the idea to put the light (high/low beams and flashers), blinker switch, windshield wiper controls on the dash panels....need shot.

It's a Nissan March 4-door with a 1.2 liter engine and a manual transmission. Steering wheel is on the right. It gets about 31 mpg in stop-and-go city traffic and 45 mpg on the highway (using U.S. gallons). The 0 to 60 time is a blistering 13.5 seconds.

Gas is now about 0.777 euro per liter. If my math is right, that converts to about $4.06 a gallon (U.S.).

Not exactly a manly car, but because I got a good deal on it (it's a used 2006 in great shape and with low mileage), I didn't have to finance it.
