Our defense will not be good until we get some topflight DT's in here

No matter what else we do, our D will not be good until we get some topflight DT's in here. Our DLine was repeatedly pushed back at the snap today. The ball carrier was mostly not touched until he was 2-10 yards down the field. This will absolutely not work.

Please, someone tell Jerry that run D starts w/ the DT's. If you are weak there, you will not have a good D.

Jerry thought he had that covered. He skipped on Alim McNeil (Lions) in the '21 Draft, took Kelvin Jospeh on a reach instead. Drafted a 3 Tech O'Diggy in the 3rd rd, who can't rush the passer.

How did that work out? He never valued 1T and when he realized it, he rolled the dice on Mazi Smith and lost.

It is mind boggling that this wasn't a major emphasis this offseason after what the packers did to us in the playoffs last year. I think most of the fan base was very disappointed with that approach. How does the team not look at this position in the offseason????

A GM who is the polar opposite of a "football guy".

10? Im thinking we havent taken it seriously since Glover.

Ratliff was a blip
Ratliff was a 7th round pick. We simply don't know enough about football to take the defensive line seriously. We've been getting gashed in the running game for well over a decade and we don't think to fix it. It is absolutely mind boggling.

The Dallas FO has a allergy to good FA DT's.

Reminds me of how they refused to value the Saftey position for about a decade.

Need to make it a priority in the draft and free agency but we will not ever do it and continue to fail in the same way

I doubt Jerry even knows what 3T or 1T means

Jerry said today that he could use anybody on defense and they would be great. Dak isn't a great quarterback. His backup sucks as well.

They’ll use the Mazi bust as an excuse to not keep taking DT’s high and instead they’ll draft some guys in the mid to late rounds and try to sell them as the solution.

Wash, rinse, repeat Ksk
I doubt we even Draft defensive tackles, we haven't been. We've been signing 35-year-old free agents that no one else wants and putting them on the line. We don't know any better.

We've drafted Mazi, Tristen hill, and taco charlton. The latter two I would never ever have anywhere near my team but when you prefer to have guys of low character because they make headlines for reckless speeding, fighting, or shootings, you jump on them. There are three things Jerry loves more than anything: money, attention - making headlines, and people of little to no character.

I mean the list is so unbelievably long, just in the second round alone. Duane goodrich, Randy gregory, Tristan hill, that kid from LSU bosmman fat, I know I'm forgetting some. That's just in the second round. In free agency we've got Alonzo spellman, Demetrius underwood, Pac-Man jones, tank Johnson, that defensive end from the 49ers who was out of football.

Then we have Lael Collins, who now I'm thinking there is probably some truth to the reason he fell completely out of the draft. I know I'm forgetting some people. Oh yes, Greg hardy. How could we forget him.

Remember when we treated safety just the same? It was like we knew the position was killing us but we’re on a mission to prove everyone wrong for no dang reason lol
