So what do you guys see happening?

Byron Jones, Chido, and Anthony Brown will all become available.

Can we potentially bring back all 3?

Would we pick Chido and Brown over Byron or vice versa?

It's looking like Corner is going to be the top priority in the 2020 draft.

I'm not one to study all the ins and outs of the salary cap, and frankly I doubt those fans that do really get it all anyway, but I have to wonder if there will be room to pay Byron after signing Zeke, Jaylon, Dak, Cooper, Lawrence and Collins. And there will be other contracts coming up as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Byron ends up being the odd man out, and we try and add to the Chido/Brown/Lewis group through the draft.

Really depends on Chido IMO. Does he step up, or is he that guy who is above average but not really worth paying just value for?

Same goes to Jones to a lesser degree. Is he still that shutdown CB this year. another prove it year like D-Law.

I would hope to keep one of AB/Jones. IIRC the market value for slot corners is 7-8 million.

wouldn't mind signing Brown if he would take 6-7mil a year.

I really don't think anyone in that unit has played well enough to be a "bring back at all costs" sort of guy. Byron had a good year, but doesn't get picks and gave up some big plays late in the year. He'll likely get an offer that prices him out of our range if he hits FA. Chido needs to prove he can stay healthy and take the next step. Brown is what he is. If hes paid accordingly, I think we can keep him. Lewis is a wildcard. I think he's the kind of guy that's going to want to test the market f and/or seek out a starting role.

Franchise Byron. Problem solved.

You won’t have the cap space after signing Dak to do that unless you start restructuring.

This is the reality of spending like drunken sailors on offense (when we sign Dak and Cooper).

You are going to have to penny pinch on D.

I think AB walks and Byron stays if he takes a team friendly contract. If he doesn’t, Jourdan Lewis is a baller in my opinion and will do just fine

I'm willing to be that there are team friendly contract offers out there for both Jones and Brown, it's all about deciding if they're willing to take them.

From the draft. Simply no other way.

Let Byron Jones walk.

Kris Richard is a good defensive coach and will mentor the dbs and have them ready in my opinion.

Easier said then done but just draft "some" talented corners.

In order to make up for high contracts a team has to draft good players and acquire free agents that are serviceable (role players) and affordable.

Brown had a good rookie year for a day 3 pick.
Then his sophomore year he switched sides and struggled.
Under Richard he looked good again in the slot.

Think he is a Orlando Scandrick type draft pick, with the potential to be a decent #2 corner.
Becomes better than expected from a 6th round pick and can play man and zone well enough.

If I were Lewis, I'd get as far away from this org as I could.
