This is going to be a better unit than expected. Liufau is a playmaker who can defend the run and rush the passer. Murray has the potential to stuff the run, while Sanborn is a vastly underrated player. Even fifth-round pick Shemar James could carve out a role on special teams. Look for the linebacker corps to make a huge impact for this defense in 2025 — especially once Overshown returns.

I feel they are underrated by many fans. Then again they underrate all of our players.
I do feel they need to bring in a few more LB's for TC. They never seem to have enough at TC, but overload on WR's. Brinig some of the same ones back over and over.
When the ran the 3-4. You would think they would keep 8 LB's, but only had 10 in TC.
The 4-3, keep 6 LB's, they would have 8 or 9 in TC. How are they to compete. Then injuries start and the depth is street guys.
Right now there are 9 LB's. And I do not count Micah as a LB. Or it would be 10.
Overshown will start on PUP. So 8 competing for 6 spots. As I believe Eberflus may keep 6.
But even if he keeps 5. There is still not a lot of competition there for this spots.

James, Clark, Barron - 2 or 3 will make the team
Johnson, Harris, holdovers from last year PS, as Johnson got dome snaps in, because of injuries to others.
