It really depends if Weeden has learned enough to read the whole field and go through his progressions and if he has enough confidence in our oline to to not get antsy. He didn't have nearly this good a team around him when he was run out of Cleveland so hopefully He will be ok.

why do people say we definitely can't rely on the run game?
it's been two games where it hasn't been great. the Eagles still have a great front 7. We could run the ball well vs. Atlanta, who knows? Their defense is still overall questionable (while being much better than last year's debacle).
I'm not expecting a win at all, but let's play the games.

The Falcons and Saints are pretty bad on Defense this season. As long as the Dallas defense keeps playing the way it has, I think Dallas will be 4-0 going into the Patriots game (Not too optimistic about that one though).

The Falcons defense on paper is better than last year and so far they have been playing better as well. I think if anything the Falcons will be the harder of the 2 games of course depending on what is going on with Brees.

Is ranking 27th in total yards allowed a really big step up though? The Giants and Eagles both moved well against them and had very legitimate chances to win the game, they just shot themselves in the foot like they always do.

He's probably right, Weeden can't move at all, Dallas can't rely on the run game. I see Weeden taking a lot of hits. 7 games is a long time, it would be naive to not get your third stringer up to speed ASAP.

NE & Brady will be a good test for our Defense and pass rush and secondary.
