Our "D" is just......BAD........

Oh yeah, Chicago with that potent offence... Rex Grossman
grossman usually either has a real great game or a real horrible game. if Newman is still out which would most bet on happening with how our D played??? yea the former...

I'm not pointing out just Ware all of the DL and LBs stunk tonight. Spencer was the only one that made any plays on 2 plays. Canty made one play and Ferguson made a play early on. That was really it. I can't even think of a play that any of the LBs made all night.

Bradie and Akin held their own in tonights game, I thought Hamlin had a spectacular game, dude was everywhere.

Grossman didn't look that bad today in SD

The 2 fumbles by the RBs killed them-otherwise, the Chicago OL did an outstanding job against SDs vaunted front 7.

At least there's something coming out of this in the long run-we get 2 of the Top 5 picks-NT/CB, and then sign Michael Turner to complement MB3.

I definitely would not say Ware had a bad night... Roy Williams should give back that signing bonus and leave! He's gotten progressively worse each year in pass coverage. Someone needs to call him out!

1st and 3rd Burress TD catches were results of poor Roy Williams angles!

as much as I like watching him knock people unconscious, BUT he sucks in coverage, and he didn't show any improvement tonight over the last years. He really needs to step his game up. Maybe convert him to a LB, but I dont' think he is big enough for that.

Rex Grossman looked really awful in that game. He had all day to throw in the first half and still looked bad. The interception at the end zone wasn't even close to a receiver.

i was with Troy Aikman when he said that it was more the Receivers fault than Grossman's. Berrian just stopped running the route for no reason. but yea he still didnt have a good game...

Jesus Christ people ......this was a division rival game .....

These games are ALWAYS crazy ...... adrenalin has a huge factor.

At least wait till we play Miami next week to panic.

Are you talking about the one to Bernard Berrian? Berrian gave up on the route and left Rex out to dry. Easy pickins for McCree.

Say what? On the first one, he was covering on the other side of the field, with the receiver coming right at him. That was simply Henry getting beaten man-to-man.

On the third one, he was sitting in zone coverage, so it had nothing to do with any angle.

he stopped his drop 5 yards short

I really don't know where to start. I'm thrilled Romo and the O bailed them out. But geez guys, more crappy play from Roy, Ware, Henry and others. I thought Spencer and Raltliff graded out well.......that's IT. Newman better heal up, because we can't outscore everyone. (Rip me if you want, but if you're honest, you'll admit I'm right-NO pass rush whatsoever: AGAIN)

I would love to see a pass rush but I would feel a lot better than I do if our guys could even tackle. I got tired of seeing a RB plow through and over our guys. Maybe we need to do what Bear Bryant did with his boys when they weren't playing well. He picked up a football and started: "This is a football!"

I honestly don't have a clue why Roy is whiffing on so many tackles and seems to be out of position so much. I mentioned the fact in the Houston game he whiffed on a tackle and the RB ran for another 30-40 yards and I was attacked from every direction and was reminded that it was only a preseason game. Maybe Roy hasn't been told yet that tonight was not a preseason game.

We need to stop the run first and to do that somebody has got to learn to tackle. I would settle right now for the D to tackle OR rush the passer either one. That would at least be a start.

A win is a WIN.....Why do people want the whole team peaking at the begining of the season...You need to win until the team hits their stride...

This is the NFL 1 point win is as good as a 25 point win.

What drop? He was in his zone the whole time. If he drops into the back of the end zone, the Burress cuts in front of him for an easy TD. Manning made a good throw and Burress made a good catch between the zones -- that's all you have to do to beat zone coverage.
