Our running game, after 2 games...

Wow, that all you got?

You gonna try to tell me you think JuJo is better then Jamal Lewis?

If so, say goodbye to your credibility. Lewis isn't the same back he was a few years ago, but he's still better then JuJo.

Goodbye, credibility. It was fun while it lasted. Stupid Jamal Lewis.

This was trenchant. It involved spelling, and word-jumbling and everything.

I'm not going to go out of my way to win an argument with you, Rack. If you don't think several of the teams below us in the running game rankings the last two years could consider our starter if he were suddenly to become available, then you're not looking at the situation clearly to begin with.

jacobs, Benson, Brown- JJ has produced better then any of them.

Let 'em give me 150 yards a game for 16 games this year, and I don't give a rat's patootie HOW they get it done... let 'em keep on cranking out the 4.7 YPC average, and I'll bet ya we're looking at a 10-12 win team at season's end...

 :hammer:

not sure why we can't be happy with the total yards per game vs which back is starting. I could honestly care less who starts as long as the "run game" is productive. Say if one game the fullback gains 100 yds, I know it's crazy, but my point is would you really care?

We have the luxury of two runningbacks that could start for several teams; the problem is that this causes too much argument on the forums about who should be the one getting the touches. Luckily, the team doesn't care as long as we get W's. We're going to face defenses that are more susceptible to one back as opposed to the other, so in a way it's nice that we're not locked into a Stephen Jackson or LaDanian Tomlinson who combined have less yards than Barber/Jones.

Gone are the days when the GREAT ONE RB would lead the league in rushing.... and/or in TD's and then go in and win the SB. (EMMITT)

Look at LT last year or Sean Alexander a few years back or LJ

If the JJ vs MBIII debate isn't at a peak yet, wait until after the Chicago game where the running game figures to play prominently in the contest...If the Pile Magnet can't do much and stalls the offense, how long before MBIII is called in?

I think a lot of questions will get answered about their roles this Sunday night in Chicago.

There aren't any questions about their roles now. And I'll bet you nothing changes in any way (barring injury to either player) as far as their roles are concerned after the game Sunday.

Bears will be tough to run against and I don't expect big numbers from either guy. What I hope for is that we can do enough in the running game for the Bears to respect it to help open things up off the play-action.

Did I really just read Rack say that Chris Brown is better than Julius Jones?

I'm leaving this thread now.. :lmao:

And that's why you won't learn anything, Boy.

Chris Brown isn't great, but please... he's better then JuJo.

See, if you hadn't left the thread, you'd have gotten to hear him say it twice. His reasoning is 'because I (me, Idgit) suck', if I followed his earlier argument. I might have gotten that wrong, though, because of all the sucking I was doing at the time he was explaining it.
